Scan of the Week: this video clip of a sweet 15 week old baby during the Advanced Early Scan.
This baby scan is performed to estimate the age of the pregnancy (if not already established) and assess the health of your baby. We look for the presence or absence of any physical abnormalities, measure the age of the fetus and determine whether it is a single or multiple pregnancy.

I'm 44 & 15 weeks pregnant today. A huge surprise! My youngest is 17. It's amazing all the movement I'm starting to feel! I don't think I realized the miracle of this when I had my 3 babies in my 20s. 😭

Yes it is totally safe, just stay away from the 3D scans early in pregnancy.

@@sweetpeach3293 yes my Dr didn't let me do any 3D scans because in order to get such a high-quality picture a lot of harmful rays are emitted. There is no need to do a 3D scan unless there is a medical concern tbh. I saw my baby in 3D when she was born with my eyes lol.

Ultra sound either shows penis or clitoris, just have to pay attention to the genital area

@@ridzmalik8694 second 32: genital tubercul visible which make a parallel with the spinal cord. If it would make an angle upper than 15 degrees, comparing to the spinal cord, it would be a boy

My daughter just lost her baby 15 weeks 3 days!! It’s so sad to realize that people kill babies his age!! He was perfect!! Lost to placental abruption!

U must not ever had a child &/or ultrasound... It's ok ❤ U will continue to learn new things every day. I make sure to learn at least 5 new things a day 💃🏽
