Scania 143m V8 Restoration. [Episode ] We need parts !!

In this episode we get a lot of mechanical work done, including rebuilding the hubs, replacing brake shoes, brake Chambers, etc ...
We Also paint stub axles, backing plates, clean up the cam and pins.
we even get some paint on the bulkhead and inside the cab.
We are struggling to source some parts and a few people have mentioned we should contact Trucker Tim as he has a few contacts in the scania world. hopefully some van help us douce those needed parts !

2/3 old truck, 1/3 brand new truck. The wiring is going to be a nightmare for some poor electrician. I admire your resolve and commitment. If a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing well!

We are those poor electricians 😂 we are doing pretty much a full rewire on it. We are all HGV techs so the wiring is pretty familiar to us 😉

Hopefully trucker tim sees this let him use it to make content when shes sorted and id say he would help out I know his videos seem like someone else is doing all the work but that's because hes always busy making content and he does know all the right people from far and wide

Ian Maclean aka "Nipper" is the scania man particularly 143's, also tranz tec made a new interior to original factory spec for a 143 recently to.

Moody transport restored his old 143 Guy Martin did a lot of the work and sourced parts that were hard to get
