Scanning Positions for RAYUS’s Aera Wide-bore MRI

When it comes to getting an MRI, you have a lot of options. One scanning choice at RAYUS is the Aera, a wide-bore scanner. “Wide-bore” means the space that you go into is significantly wider or more spacious than traditional MR machines. So you can see what the Aera is like, we take you into the MR suite. Get a look at the machine and how you’ll be positioned on the table for various scans including:
-MRI of the Brain (in this scan a coil is placed over your head)
-MRI of the Shoulder (in this scan a coil is placed over your shoulder)
-MRI of the Knee (in this scan a coil is placed over your knee)

Im truly claustrophobe and i feel so much anxious..just wondering if Kaiser provides open MRI...

Here watching this Video because I'm scheduled to have an MRI done and I'm very claustrophobic. My doctor prescribed medication to take right before having my exam to calm my Nerves, Anxiety & Panic Attack. I'll be using the bigger machine which I hear helps a lot for patients who are very claustrophobic. Planning to go in for a tour. I think I'm going to be okay just judging by how much bigger the machine is from the traditional machines.

@@naturalkinkycurlymarie7496 Yea, the machine is much larger and shorter than Traditional ones. You can see easily see the other side so you're going to do just fine.

Im just run out from that machine, not a big diference from the regular one, hell no, i need anesthesia for this!!

I GOTTA DO ONE ON MY LEFT KNEE. THIZ WHUT I'M TALK'N ABOUT. WIDE MRI IZ BETA, CAUSE ALL OF YO BODY DON'T HV TO BE IN THERE. AND IT SHOULDN'T TSKE NO HOUR OR MORE, CAUSE THE MACHINE IZ OUTDATED!! 🤭🤔😜😁👍🏼
