He has the potential to be a attack minded center back like Zanetti or Maldini, over the past few months he's improved his attacking prowess playing as a right back, he's able to make good runs inside the box and play nice crosses inside, props to koeman in utilising minguezas versatility.

Fast, strong, agile, confident, fearless, can dribble, can shoot can defend. I mean this guy is a solid package. Barcelona would be fool to let him go and any team in need of a young versatile defender would be fool to not get him even for £40M.

To people who don't know it, Mingueza was underperforming for the B-Team and the only reason Koeman picked him up was because the guy he actually wanted to play Santi Ramos Migo got injured during pre-season so he at least took him for backup. It's like God guided him to us, killing it for us.

Óscar Mingueza has kept 10 clean sheets in the 19 games that he's played the full 90 for FC Barcelona this season. Considering he used to play in the 3rd division with the B Team last season, that's something.

Crazy how he didn’t even start in Barca B but due to so many injuries he got a chance with the first team. He’s been progressing amazingly too, he is young and makes mistakes too but he learns from them, he’s got great potential. Glad we got someone like Koeman that uses only the ones that are in form regardless of how young his players are

I used to notice busquets, de jong, pedri, messi, dembele, alba's plays with more focus during the game. After this video i feel that i should have noticed oscar too. The title gives an honest opinion. Why didn't i notice him? Bcoz he is underrated. I could see so much intelligence in oscar as he predicts the opponent's movements a little earlier giving him an upper edge. He has a very good physical strength and speed. He needs a bit more control on crosses and long passes, which we can expect in due course. Special thanks for a good video edit. Keep going.....

highly proactive on the ball and very good with the ball for a defender but the main issue he leaves spaces behind him thats why the other centrebacks have to cover his spaces
