My husband and I were driving to the store when i saw a mini doberman girl walking near a field where coyotes lie in wait! I took her home and she is doing great now! I don't breed animals. She had no identification and seemed like she was being used as a breeder and was very thin.

I agree, I’ve had dogs since I was 3 years of age, I’m now 46 and have had 11 dogs in my time, my latest is an Alaskan malamute who’s lying beside me now on the couch, she’s been the most testing dog I’ve ever had but I’d never ever abandon her

I am not good at math but it is said, by The Greater Good that 80% of the canines are rescued on a regular basis...I wrote and mentioned this: laugh if you want, but every canine that could be saved is one less to die...why can't the Veteran's Administration seek out shelter dogs that could be wonderful mates for our wonderful Veterans? They can be trained ...yes that is true, expensive but add the seven or eight thousand for a dog from a breeder when a little sheltere that would work may be donated because of the "cause" or trained for whatever...cats on the other hand the stats are much worse... up to 80% ...people need to spay, neuter, love and help here...dogs need to be fixed, yes but cats apparently don't get the best chances...but cats are wonderful in certain offices as they relax the personnel, they are wonderful in assisted care as they cheer up the populace and in some of the homes these wondeful people would just love to hug or pet a kitty..if the care centers as this as others would open up theier hearts and minds, we could find forever homes for another 10% of more...

I will never understand how ppl just dump animals without na second thought you have to be a heartless individual to even think about doing that to a poor defend less animal! God bless you guys for all that you do helping these sweet babies, you will be rewarded! 🙏🙏🙏💞💕

The puppy could have been sad because you left the friends that were helping him. (But bless you for all the work you do! I am just a cat lover and they need help as well.)

@@irisbjones Unfortunately, she can’t save all the strays- there are just too many. And bringing unknown cats home to a small apartment with dogs in it could be potentially really problematic.

It was a residential area so probably the cat was an outdoor house cat. She looked fluffy and well cared for!

@@burppp. I don't know where you live, but I live in the same region as the lady who does this and most cats here are free to come and go as they wish, especially in residential areas (I am talking about a residential area with mostly houses). You can't get out and kidnap someone's cat just because it wants to see if it can get a few extra treats from you!

@@thrivingdevelopment2317 lol the location don’t matter... the cat doesn’t have collars on them, and so does the dog.. the cat is well taken care of by the people living in that area and so does the dog.. but sure the dog get rescued.. your logic still makes no sense because it’s biased.. cats had always been second class to dogs.. even when it comes to donations dogs will always be the priority.. lets be honest here, you and I know if both were in dire need of whatever most people would be flapping to help the dog first (the lady in the video LITERALLY threw a piece of food far away from her for the cat and look at the way she feeds the dog, hand fed and everything) .. the cat would be an after thought that’s why the cat is “free to roam” or whatever in the middle of the night, it’s fine it’s safe for them but oh noooo not the dog being “free roam” in the middle of night care free carrying a stick we gotta safe him from doom he will never survive!! The dog looks well fed and his fur is fluffy just a little dirty so how do you know that he’s not being cared for? How do they know it doesn’t belong to someone.. like you said, they would be kidnaping someone’s pet, your words not mine.. I have friends that have pets that roam free (dogs/cats without collars) as you said so the cat belongs to someone even without proof.. your logic is biased I hope you see now.. The number of channels that not only stage the resumes but, in my personal opinion, get the animals in horrible condition so they can be the hero on video, is staggering by now. I personally don't trust ANY channel from the Middle East or Asia, unless I can see stuff like a certified vet and the animals getting adopted.
