Hope you thanked him for giving Jason his iconic hockey mask.....his sacrifice is appreciated. Miguel Núñez, another face I didn't expect to see. Awesome you got to see him in person. He's great in part 5, even better in Return of the living dead. Awesome to see Jeremy get to experience actually sitting in Christine and I assume that is Spirtas from Friday part 7. So that's cool. My fellow horror/movie fan, who's also a family friend said she recently watched Friday part 7. She said she really liked it. Loved Tina the psychic. "oh they just made the same movie again and again" No, not really. We got the imposter, we got zombie Jason, we got psychic Tina, we got Jason in space, and as much as I hate the movie they gave us Freddy vs Jason. That's a lot more then some other franchises. I got to agree, the soul pizza scene is a stand out in Elm street part 4 and part 4 in recent years has earned some new respect from me. I use to watch it all the time as a kid but I knew it was not the best of the franchise. Same with part 5, but having rewatched it multiple times in recent years, it's actually really good. Just needed more blood if anything. I still am disappointed they killed off Kincaid though. Worse decision in the franchise, but I guess he didn't want to continue. Kincaid should of at least died near the end of part 4, not at the beginning. Gonna watch Trick or treat from 1986 tonight. Never seen it before. Watched Pumpkinhead 2 last night. Good as always. Cried when Pumpkinhead is killed, just like I do every time I watch it. Update: Well...just watched Trick or treat. At first I liked it...but then it just became more and more mediocre. Kind of cool how they made the rocker electric....but just wasn't as fun as Hack o lantern and over all just very forgettable and mediocre. Even the metal in the movie was not that good. I say that as a metal head my self. So ya, just okay. Nothing special.
