Man I never met this dude in my life but I swear it feel like we family. That's how much he been apart of my life since 1990 or 91 since I was 20 or 21 serving in the military. Every where I went Face was with me since then..

When Scarface said, “That didn’t age well,” I laughed a bit. I didn’t even take it as a comparison to todays culture. I took it as a man who has matured over time as we tend to do. I’m about to be 38 and I can look back on the person I was just a few short years ago and recognize how much of a different person I am. It’s a beautiful thing. The only thing constant in life is change.

I actually didn’t like rap music when I was a kid but when I was in the 6th grade and my mind’s playing tricks on me came out along with too shorts the ghetto I was hooked

So MUCH POETRY love Scarface! Been listening to him since I was 13. I am 46 now. What makes it better is I’m from HOUSTON and still live here. FACE can move anywhere with respect. He’s a legend and I’m so glad he is still gracing us with his artwork

Scarface is not in my Top 5 but he is someone I always respected. I remember being a kid and hearing my dad play all of his albums. Especially ‘The Diary’. My Dad would always buy his albums as soon as they came out. I bought him ‘The Fix’ in ‘02 when he wasn’t tracking that it was released. He’s one of those artists that I respected although I favor other rappers more than him. My Top 5 consists of Nas, Tupac, Ice Cube, Biggie, and Chuck D.

Scarface been my favorite MC since 90-91. I would’ve liked to have heard A Minute To Pray, A Second To Die. Also I’m Dead, and Now I Feel Ya just to name a few.

Man H Town really is a nomads land. Face and Booker T doing politics. No housing restrictions on buildings lol. Lyricists by the boatload. Pharoah, Keke, Chamillionaire, etc. Also its where you don't got to be gangsta to make it. You can do baller rap or party/weed rap. If you pay respect in the right congregation you can earn your way. Scarface did what no other artist did and thats author his songs. I mean its like Spielberg in rhyme. You dont gotta think just use your common (senses).

Ayo Heit, I don’t wanna ruin the fun because I loved your interpretation on the subject…but I’m a rap nerd 🤓 at heart & I think you read a lil’ too far into the “That didn’t age well” line Face delivered. Notice while delivering the verse he adlibbed “phone” for the original lyric of “pager". Face was simply stating the “pager” line didn’t age well being that they’re pretty much nonexistent in 2023 😄 but I enjoyed your view on that subject regardless.
