What’s funny, is Shane has said multiple times that he’s actually easily frightened and has said he considers Ryan the brave one since he actually believes. There’s a episode where Shane thinks someone is in a tunnel he’s in and loses his shit and books it.

I had read somewhere that spirits are actually afraid of the people who don't fear them. Since Shane doesn't believe in spirits, he doesn't fear them while Ryan explicitly confesses his fear. May be that's why Shane doesn't experience paranormal events as frequently as Ryan.

The fact that Shane really shows no fear with the flashlights is what scares me. Even if it wasn’t in a place famous for a haunting, if a flashlight changes when you tell it to, most people would be weirded out or amazed at the coincidences.

Especially that first example, those were class A responses to questions!!! The fact that it said “chimney” when asked when it died, and then responded with the same exact way with more detail, that was incredible to witness, I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like to experience it!!!!

I really think how did you die is some of the best evidence within the spirit box. I laughed when he asked the first time and it said “Chimney” but almost shut up when he asked the second time and it kept the same idea up by saying “I fell off the Chimney” it was holding up the same idea meaning it could very well be one of the spirits and so many people overlook it

One of the highlights of the show/series is the interviews in between. When one is inside, the other is having a mini interview.

Even if I'm a general believer when it comes to spirits and ghosts, I love people like Shane who question everything and just don't believe it. I have a friend exactly like that and people who scoff at the supernatural need to exist too. (Mostly to keep the rest of us sane enough to not believe in every single thing that pops on the internet).

The best thing about Ryan and Shane is that everything they do feels natural. It doesn't feel fake like some certain "ghost hunting" shows. The jokes and stuff all fit very well, and it doesn't feel like they fake anything. Very repetitive but without Ryan and Shane I don't think I'd be able to watch Buzzfeed at all. No offense to anyone else on the show, its just...they're the most interesting and least "script humor" that many of the other people on Buzzfeed do.

The best spirit box evidence is from the La Llorona episode, for sure. Not only did the spirit directly answer a question, it was so clear that it sounded like a regular person speaking. Even Shane was impressed.

Reading through the comments, and seeing people hate on the show JUST bc it’s a BuzzFeed show. When in reality, Unsolved (and Worth It) is pretty much the only good thing BuzzFeed has left. I find the show is A LOT more casual to watch, than other ghost hunting TV shows. Shane seems to relief some of the tension/fear that both Ryan and the viewer may be feeling. Plus, I find that the evidence they get is more compelling, than ‘actual’ ghost hunting shows, bc they don’t always get a tone of evidence, compared to shows such a Ghost Adventures. For the people in the comments who are hating on this show, just bc it’s a BuzzFeed show or bc they think that they’re faking evidence, I’d suggest you actually give the show a shot- before you criticise it based on this video alone.

I hope I wasn't the only one that found the Viper Room video to be pretty damning with its evidence. The consistency of 1) A cry for help, and 2) this cry for help had a consistent voice and tone. It was intelligent with it's quick responses, and that sells the desperation for help. Like, my goodness, I am sure and will lose my mind a bit if there comes a day when the Viper Room is broken down for any reason and skeletal remains are found of who, I now strongly suspect to be, Anthony Fox. Extremely sad and mysterious death, and if found there, that episode will certainly hit different. On a side note, that episode also, just in general, had such clear and distinct voices on per ghost. Very unsettling. The spirits were definitely present in that night club.
