Viper used to be my favorite back in the 90s because it had it all, speed, loops and length. But after riding it 2 years ago which was over 20 years after I last rode it, forget about it, it’s just too jerky. Goliath is now my favorite along with Twisted Colossus

I rode this when I was in high school and the part after the big drop where you come around to a brake track and slowly creep down a super tall curve is way scarier than the initial drop.

A fun fact is that in the episode of zoey 101 when Michael is afraid of rollercoasters and he overcomes his fear he rides Goliath repeatedly

DaylanLA, after watching your run on the Viper ride, it really reminded me of the old Shock Wave ride at Six Flags Great America. Same drop, high then curved, loops, etc, and incredibly bumpy and rough. We called it the migraine maker. Back in the "day" when I was a wannabe metal head I had the dangling Cross earring, and after we got off the Shock Wave my GF at the time stopped me, "your bleeding!" Apparently on one of the rough turns my head slammed into the harness and my neck got pierced by either the cross or the back part of the earring. Either way I was bleeding. The ride operators were crapping bricks, but I was "fine". No I was a dumb*ss! Wanting to look "cool". I was such a tool! Not 100% sure if the Viper/Shock Wave are the same but they seem close.

It’s funny how now Viper is considered to be the worst ride in the park because when it was brand new it was considered to be the best ride in the park. I remember, it was really awesome when it was new! It was the tallest and fastest coaster in the park for 5 years…. It’s amazing how times really change!!

I love that first coaster I haven’t rode a coaster in 13 years and I feel like that is the perfect 👌 warm up coaster before going in between 200-300 ft coaster

X2 is still to this day my favorite ride. Not only it’s fun but, it gets your blood flowing haha
