“There’s a lot of talking, and there’s a lot of accents” isn’t that just your channel in a nutshell

No Through Road is honestly scarier after knowing what's going to happen. It just adds to that sinking dread of the story and then that utterly brutal and terrifying ending. Every time I watch it I get that dropping feeling in my stomach because I just know it's going to end badly. Also, the idea of The Bells is really cool. A predator that isn't quiet enough to sneak up on its prey, and thus resorts to deafening it before striking is super neat.

That first video was the first ever horror video I ever saw on youtube. I was around 11 or 12 when I saw it. I was genuinely freaked out because I couldn't tell if it was real. The screams were so genuine that it haunted me. Now I obviously know it's just good acting, but that guy running in the tunnel and whisper-yelling "Oh shit, oh shit!" Still sent shivers down my spine. He knew he was prkbably done for, but was still ready to run for it.

If anyone wanted a better understanding of Miss Annity (I know this was posted forever ago), the one he just watched was actually the finale of 3(? I believe that’s how many there were) Helen Annity enforces 1950s values and will pick her victims based on whether or not they fall into what she thinks is correct. So Jacob liking makeup made him a target, she used an illusion to get him to “fight like a real man” but instead he used deescalated the situation and drove her away. So she turned her attention to his father in order to find a man for her puppet show to teach masculinity. Her other victims being a new father that didn’t want to work in office in order to be close to his wife and child, and a figure skater who was struggling to stay an “appropriate” weight. The glowing spider you saw in the end was the reason for her current state. In other words she got the horror version of Peter Parker since the spider consumed a “torment fragment” I also heard that due to the positive feedback they’ve thought about making another season of it

I know this was posted last year, but I have to be honest. I was having a bad night, grieving over my dad's death and this is actually the first video to make me smile and feel somewhat better. Thank you @jacksepticeye for everything you do. You really do make the world a better place

I remember the first time I seen "No Through Roads" and it legit freaked me out. The creepy distorted looping music on the radio made for a very unsettling detail and the ending cutting back and forth from the kid getting his face brutally beaten in with the camera to some of their 'home movies' they recorded earlier wrapped it all together.

The tornado siren isn't actually broken! The Chicago City Council decided to change their sirens because people had grown numb to the original sound, and were actually beginning to _ignore_ the warnings.

I think the most genuinely uncomfortable/unsettling ones for me were the first one and the McDonalds one; the first because it felt so real and sincere, and the 2nd because of the off-putting (in a good way) animation paired with the instinctual distrust/discomfort you immediately feel.

In the first clip, that creepy song was from the movie The Strangers. They had a record playing and it started skipping and was stuck on that one eerie loop for like 5 minutes. I will say though, I started watching your channel last night with your VR Titanic video, fell asleep during it, and woke up to those kids screaming and that song playing. I closed my laptop to go to bed and it kept playing in my head over and over! hahahah Soooo that first one got me without me even knowing it. I had weird dreams all night too

Things to know about “No Road Through”: The one getting beat is Steven in the future. The Steven in the past is the one beating future Steven. The tunnel traps it’s victims in a time loop. The person stopping the car is possibly one of the people in the car from the future stopping the boys from making a horrible mistake. There are 4 films. Finally the dude stopping them has a great sense of fashion.

So when is Jack gonna sit in the dark with us? He's taking the easy way out with all of those studio lights.

“There is Nothing” is a bit scarier when you know the plot. Allegedly the woman had died and came back.

Jack should really watch other Meat canyon videos! They're amazing.

It's amazing no matter how many times I watch this video, the first clip he watches always scares me/makes me feel uneasy. I'm not the type to get scared much, but the first one always gets me.

Actually there's a horror movie called Hush that plays with the idea of not being able to hear anything. The main character is deaf and mute, so a lot of scenes involve the audience not being able to hear the attacker and having to rely on visuals. Very good movie, highly recommend checking it out Edit; I love how I'm not the only one to bring up Hush, it's nice to see that there's others who brought it up here 😊

True story, a while back I was talking on the phone to my mum and she told me a story. She was in the car with my stepdad, and they went to a place close to their house. I can’t remember if it was them trying to get there or leaving after, but they somehow ended up on a road they didn’t recognize. My stepdad has lived there for ages and it’s not a huge city. They try to circle back to where they started, and succeed. When they turn to leave the second time, they end up in the same unfamiliar place. They swore they were going the right way. The same way they always did. After way too long, they finally made it back on the road and got home. This story gave me the chills.

That classic moment when a 60’s era “housewife” turns into a spider demon and tries to kill someone cause they get bullied for wearing makeup cause of their gender (which is wrong kids, don’t ever bully anyone or else I’ll turn into a spider demon thing and eat you) but then the spider demon randomly decides to not kill you cause you hugged your bully, only to end up killing your father instead, classic.

I think Ronald McDonald's line about the rapper Logic is a reference to American Psycho, where one character states that he's begun listening to a specific person's music solely because of that person receiving positive attention in the media

I watched this video when it first came out. I was around 11-12. I watched it late at night. The video with the car was so realistic to my childish eyes that i seriously thought they had died. The music was stuck in my head and i was petrified of the corners of my room. I couldnt get that video out of my head for 2 months. I am going to rewatch this video while listening to rhythm is a dancer 7" remix while playing happy wheels and trying to beat a pogo fight level.

Interesting fact: the scene where the kid is bludgeoned with the camera and it's viewed through the camera was considered for an alternate ending for the first paranormal activity movie but it was scratched because it was thought to be too difficult and brutal
