It's great to see the creators taking advantage of the new all-in-one-box format. Collecting blister packs on a fixed release schedule forces a linear story line.

the fact that side stories now make sense geographically is so good. it was always taking me out of the experience being in like a middle of a jungle mid campaign struggling for resources, only to have a quick trip to Venice mid way through. erm - why didnt we pick up some resources while we were there? beats me.

Wowww... This expansion is so creative. As now I am only collecting The Lord of the Rings LCG, this expansion alone make me interest in Arkham Horror LCG.

The conceal mechanic is similar to the "shadows" mechanic in warhammer quest the card game

Would you say this campaign is too complex as a first for two players just graduating from the revised core set? Would you have any recommendation for us? We don't plan to spend hundreds getting all the campaigns, just one or two at most ever.

If this is your first Living Card Game the the Dunwich Legacy or Path to Carcosa would be an easier progression for you. Both very enjoyable.

Do I need to sleeve the concealed mini cards?

You are probably asking the wrong people as we sleeve EVERYTHING! :) But these cards are only used in this campaign so won’t see as much wear as some of your other cards. Plus the are the same size your Investigator mini cards so you could swap them about.

Great review and very complete. This campaign looks like it has a lot of replayability. I am curious how did you got this box so soon? Are you a retailer or do they send you it in advance for the review?

Well someone didn’t stay for the credits :D Using donations from our Patrons we purchased it from a retailer in the Netherlands and had it shipped over. Their release date was 10th November. Anyone could do the same.

I mean, a whole panel is a bit overkill maybe, but an attempt to make sure you don't do anything cultural insensitive when making a game set in different cultural settings is an appreciated effort
