Bari Bari no Mi is undoubtedly the strongest in terms of defense. We saw the previous user in Wano, and a prime Oden wasn't able to do a single thing against it. Tori Tori no Mi: Model Phoenix has great regeneration, but that doesn't really count as defense lol. The user still gets hurt, it just heals them.

I honestly dont think Marco's DF is worth calling "One of the Best" when it comes to Defense and to be Number 1 at. I might agree with the rest specially Diamond Jozu. Marco's DF is specialized in flight so I'd say Evasion plus its its regeneration so technically you still get damage but it gets healed fast we look at a game stats basis then it would be a class good for soloing. Marco's DF would be a Bruiser type dps. On the other hand Jozu is practically a Diamond making super sturdy and receive will likely receive less damage now thats Defense. I also find The Gold buddha and Barrier quite controversial I feel like Barrier would be sturdier than gold assuming the materials in it.

For rating devil fruit's defense, you should imagine usopp or buggy as users.If Buggy or Usopp has Marco's fruit and catch Yonko's punch, they will imedeatly die.But if they have bari bari nomi they will be still alive and won't even get hurt.

I would say that bari bari no mi. Has to be at first.. Zoro will be able to cut diamond in the future, as it has been foreshadowed but he'll never be able to cut bartholomew's barrier.. That is something that even oden couldn't cut.. Cuz that fruit's literal ability is to create an unbreakable barrier

Barrier fruit should be higher cause weve seen that nothing can break through it budda has taken damages and diamond can brake by shattering but not cutting so barrier should be number one and there are a lot of problems with this list that makes no sense

Logia fruits can be easily hacked by Haki users, so they are not relied upon for defense, especially against strong opponents.

Thanks for the comment😍 We are talking about defensive fruits and not necessarily good attack . Theyens are only required to keep the user alive. We chosen top 10 on that said but Kaido does not depend on the defensive side of his fruit, he is a monster so get his defense from himself

Kaido derives his defense power from his body, not the fruit, he is a monster in itself. As for Luffy, his fruit is very good, but in terms of defense, especially the useers of swords and haki. These fruits work better

If blackbeard used his fruit defensively the only people who can even approach him at will are DF/Haki users that can fly. Even then, all he'd have to do is see them, use vortex and they're his. Blackbeard is a legitimate monster. He's just arrogant to the point of stupidity.
