Watching Scarlett play this comp is my new favorite type of SC2. The perfect fight execution with Abducts, Fungals, and Microbial Shrouds. Controlling 1 spellcaster well is hard enough. Controlling both well enough to take out the world champion is another thing entirely 👏👏👏

@@wielkija7167I never see Hydras in diamond (D3 random). That's odd. Maybe server difference? What I see almost every zerg do, is rush to lurkers, then pretend it's a free win, then bitch when I have Immortals/ghosts.

Scarlett is such a fun player to watch. Willing to try out of the box stuff like this and making it work even against a world champion. Maybe you can get her to guest or collaborate on a "Beating Grand Masters with Stupid Stuff" episode some time! I also feel like Scarlett was one of the first Zergs to really put a heavy emphasis on creep spread and that's definitely on full display in this match. It's so cool to see so much of the map covered in purple and it definitely provides an underrated advantage when it comes to setting up fights (like the almost final fight of this match that never happened).

@@princess_love9929 Sure, she is great. No, that isn't quite right about the slang. Well, some people do use it that way or have similar connotations. But the origins of it are a lot different, and it can vary a lot based on who is using it and why. Because, you know, language is constantly evolving and terms get taken back by the general public all the time. But search engines exist, and tbh I don't really feel like it's my job to spell out exactly why using that term for her could be taken the wrong way. I'm sure you can figure out why if you look into it yourself.

I've noticed in watching pro-game TvZ, Zerg loses when they don't ever try to kill the Medivacs. Zerg wins big when they snipe Medivacs during retreats.

But he kinda did try a tank push early on, and it got wrecked by queen/ling on creep. Once your tank count gets reset it's really hard to have enough at all the bases. And you can't full turtle against a zerg on Scarlett's level. She'll just take the entire rest of the map.

What about that SC1 cinematic where a Terran demolition crew plants a bomb in an infested Science Vessel and hydras appear out of nowhere and start killing them? Well they ultimately all blow up I guess... Oh and there's also the one where Fenix (as a Zealot) is overwhelmed by a bunch of hydras in a temple.

9:21 insane how? samee supply same upgrades FULL t2 expensive units vs cheapest T1 unit off T, and only 1 tank... and T moving into a full concave and is supply blocked the majority off the figght and STILL wins the fight easily.... imaagine if it was T with full T2 units vs. zerglings... seriously T is so ridiculessly overtuned

Hehe, I've noticed also that scarlett is in the thumbnail anytime she makes an appearance. I never made the smear/hate connection though, we shouldn’t be jumping to a conclusion without any proof

Spoiler: Did the style work, though? Scarlett had 2/3rds of the map for most of the game, and only won because Oliveira did a dumb. Fun match, but not something you'd see after the RO16 in a big tournament.
