Whats Up You Fakaz 🤙🏼
Ok so in episode I was Feenin to go Fish but didn't have anyone to go with.. I would solo dive so my thoughts were.. If I can dive by myself.. Fishing should be way easier and safer.. So I headed out west and checked out a few spots.. I decided id try Makuas and the plan was to stay close to my truck bc I only wanted to do a quick sesh.. As I made the walk.. I told myself.. Why not go that extra mile.. Why not try a spot where no one goes.. I knew it was getting late and that id be all by myself in the dark but my determination to catch an Ulua caused me to not give a fook lol 😂 So my plan was to just stay till 12... So I reached the spot.. Set everything up.. And ended up catching my first shark! Shortly after I released him.. I heard a scary screaming coming from the reef by the ocean.. I shined my light but couldn't see anything.. I was so scared lol.. I wanted to hurry up and leave but I had ALL my fishing gear out. So I had to put everything away while looking over my shoulders a million times! I finally packed everything, trekked that loooooong walk back to the truck and made it back home.. I uploaded a short video on instagram explaining the situation... I got a lot of DMs on what the noise could've been.. Some people explained how the area is sacred grounds and it could've been spirits.. Other people said it could have been birds? What do you guys think? Leave me a comment. Talk story.. Aight shoots Love You Fakaz 🤙🏼

Friend and I in the early 90's use to fish there. We always fished during the day and wanted to try staying overnight. I didn't want the truck getting broken into so my girlfriend drop us off. We was kicking back in the chairs not talking but just zoning out kinda falling asleep. about 2am we heard someone scream as like they was in pain behind us by the kaiwe trees. Bruh! Talk about shiting yo' pants! We shined the headlamps towards where we heard the scream but never see nothing. Later on we went to change baits on the poles and stood close by tripping out what the hell we heard. About 30 min went by and again we heard what sounded like a lady sobbing in the area where our chairs and gear was. My friend shined his light towards the chairs. I shit you not, had one really old hawaiian lady standing by our gear staring at us! I was freaking out and thought she was lost so I asked if she need help. BRUH!!!!!!! She started saying stuff in hawaiian and walking out towards the water and standing on that reef you was on in you video. That's when my ulua pole that was farthest to the left went off! When I shined the light on the pole, it was bent waaaaay over and I thought was going snap! By the time we got to the pole what ever was on, was gone. Not forgetting about the lady I shined back to where the lady was and she was gone. We tought she fall in the water. We searched but couldnt find her. We decided to pack up and get the yell outta there.

Yup braddah get plenty restless spirits out there, several stories I can share with you, Kaena Point on the north side with couple friends overnight fishing same type of sound /scream you described & explained we heard at around 1-2 in the morning and we were like wtf was that? And then about an hr later when we was all calmed down and settled by the trucks/tent this 6’ or little taller shadow or figure was walking or should I say floatin comin from mokuleia side moving towards the point as it got in front of us my friend said Ho! Brah! Wea you going? But the thing jus kept moving or floating cuz we never see any feet like was walking more like was gliding again we were like wtf! After that we all wen crash in our trucks never check bait the rest of the time. Another spot is Kahuku Golf course the left side overnight fishing again after setting all 6 poles around 1am (kinda weird how things happen after 12am) from right to left 1st pole shook/bell ring and then stop & then 2 pole same thing and so on to the last pole one after each other it did that when we got to our poles the fishing bells from each pole look like someone took it off the pole and place it nicely next to the pole holders we looked at each other wtf? As we jacked up our poles to go rebait and set up again my friend said I gotta go piss when he went off into the bushes or trees he came right back looking all white and pale he said “boys we gotta pack and leave find another spot” we were right by one graveyard we was like ok we leaving. Another place this time I went by myself North Shore Sharks Cove way on the right on the point got there when the went down again at around 1230am started hear whispering and like little kids giggling I was looking around nobody was around I was the only one there I said to myself ok it’s time to go. Thought I share some of these stories with you my braddah no go by yourself always go with someone in case something ever happens and then ahhhhhh…no more notifications when ever you drop a new vid. Aloha 🤙🏽 keep up with thegood work Yessahhh 🙌🏽👊🏽✊🏽

I remember watching your video on IG bro about that and like all ghost stories, fuck my eyes was big hearing you explained what happened 😂😂 I remember hearing from my Kumu when I was going to this Kamehameha program back in intermediate days I believe, he said there was a Hawaiian story about how a half man half shark came to Makua cave and he fell in love with a Woman that was living there (it’s all bits and pieces from hearing that story from my Kumu tryna remember how exactly the story went) but fast forward the man mysteriously left and the woman was pregnant with their child and he was also born a half man half shark. I know in the story as the boy got older he had to leave his mom because as he was swimming in the ocean while his mom was letting him, the boy heard screams and yells saying “shark! Shark! Shark!” And the boy was confused about why people were afraid of him. The news spread and soon after their were people actually hunting him and was trying to kill him and as the boy went back to his mom crying, his mom told him that he must leave and to never come back and he belongs in the ocean and ever since then the boy went and his mom was still living in Makua cave…. It’s something like that brotha but that’s just what I was told from my Kumu when me and my classmates were out adventuring down Makaha side and each area that we went, there was a story that happened here, I know when I heard that from him, I had chicken skin bro cause Yeah frick I believe hearing that kind stories and the moment I feel any presence that’s either not welcoming or not wanting me there, frick bro I would had done the exact same thing you did.. garentee I would’ve snuck in on the “I don’t know what I have done to provoke you or to upset you and I just want you to know I apologize and I’m a be leaving this area, please do not follow me and I’ll leave you alone” then Usain Bolt the fuck outta there 😂😂😂😂 But you getting closer Royce!! Can’t wait for the day come you get your first Ulua bro!! It’s gonna be Epic when you get em! 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Same story but I heard the boy growing up started demolishing all the fish in the kings ponds and everywhere else so the king went around looking for answers not knowing that the mother of the half shark half man told him to hide from the king , as things started to cool off and fish slowly came back the mother told her boy you must leave and never return or the king will have you slaughtered 💯

Another story is we have a point on the east end of maui in kaupo called “obake point “ story behind that is there were a group of ulua fisherman on that point and something hit their pole , screaming the reel guys set hook and did protocol one guy fighting another catching his back and the 3rd with the light guiding it in while trying to gaff . The crazy thing is they all were excited because the pole had head shakes (usually a fish) until they brought up the line and there was a fisherman’s boot on the hook not tabis a boot and they were all tripping because something was clearly fighting and that’s how that point got it’s name 😮‍💨

I've heard stories about the shark man in that area but that particular sound that you made sounds exactly like something my brother told me that happen to him and his gf at haubush fishing at night . He made the same sound you did when I asked him what it sounded like . Funny thing to is that we use cruise makua at night in the early 2k where my friends and I have heard that same scream or moaning sound in either in the bushes or at times more down towards the oceans . Scary brah but I was taught to not acknowledge when stuff like that happens cuz if you do then whatever it is will know that you know there presence and will keep bothering you. Anyway great content my bradah keep it coming . Stay safe n solo mish only during the day times . It's always a plus to have a partner 🤙

i had one creeepy one on kauai at kealia beach i did one solo mish one morning i left my house about 3 am got there at like 3:30-3:45 setting up my pole i casted one pole and set it in the pole stand , i was having a feeling like someone was watching me as i was setting up the next pole , so i stood up and i was facing my truck and all i seen in the corner of my eye was a little kid figure shadow running beside me to the ocean , it was pitch black and only my head lamp light was on after that i was like u looking over my shoulders every second pack my shit and moved spots right after , i seen a full figure of a kid running to the water and back up shore then disappeared chicken skin all over ,solo missions are sketchier cause no more anyone for confirm what u heard or seen , or outrun when what u seen or heard doesn't leave your presence

Back in the 60's my Dad and Grandfather used to take me to Makua Cave and it was all sand beach back then. We used to camp. They used to catch Oio one after the other on good tide and moon nights. Moi used to be an easy catch there too. They were targeting Ulua but the Oio was disruptive, they had to throw them back constantly. No wonder while growing up my Mom was so good at scraping the meat off Oios that I caught.

I stopped doing solos when I heard someone whisper in my ear “stop “ kinda froze and didn’t know what to do tried to sleep it through then I heard running . Turned on my head light and looked up on the cliff and had rocks coming down as if someone was really running but this was at 2 in the morning so I didn’t think of anyone there and it’s kinda a spot where it’s crazy to walk down in the dark cause if you slip Gurantee dead bird started jacking up my poles to leave cause I felt like I did something wrong but as I’m reeling up my 2nd pole my 3rd pole goes offf scared the living shit outta me , set hook reeling it in and none of my baits were touched no bite or scrapes on the bait tako still Chereh live bait still fine till this day if I no more parter for over night I just go morning and sunset to whip and jig and plug 😮‍💨 lesson learned . I no kea how brave you think you are , when you by yourself and hear shit and see shit the biggest guy can be the biggest wimp in that situation 🤣 every time I fish after I throw out I always clean up rubbish line gear that was left on the rock so for something like that to happen to someone trying to take care the spot kinda unreal I still don’t know what I did wrong or if was wrong place at the right time but now I always get partner

And another time I Never felt it like when I went Waimanu, but I was with the boys chilling in the garage by the front door. the door was closed and everybody was sitting down. Right next to the door mounted 4 feet off the ground was a shoe shelf and had like 3 racks of shoes on it. All of the sudden the shoes on the middle rack started flying off the shelf at us and we never even knew what to do. It was calm like no wind or anything else that could have launched it off the shelf. All of us just looked at each other like what the fuck just happened. I picked up the shoes and put um back then we all went into my homies room for the rest of the night. A few days later it’s afternoon and we all in the same room chilling my homie went and took a piss or something and comes back all scared like tripping out kind. He said he herd something else in the house and it was just us boys in the room. Right after he told us we all hear something running through the hallway away from the room we was all in. It happened a few more times, maybe something was really in the house maybe not. We all were shitting bricks and never knew what for do so we all just stayed in the room with the door locked. My friend called his Hawaiian father who decides to do a Hawaiian chant over the phone on speaker phone. As he is singing the chant you could feel a presence just kind of evaporated away. His father came and got him and gave us a piece of hala matt for hang over the front door. Nothing ever bothered us again and idk what really happened but this was all true shit that happened, all I know is when the shoes flew off the shelves at us there was nothing around, no people close enough to touch it, no animals, no wind, no earthquake. Up in Pauilo mauka. some of the scariest things I ever saw in my life were shoes Flying at me and I’ll never forget it.

You did the right thing and left the area, not a bad idea to also have apologized for being there too and then leave, usually thats the drill. If u fish you will fish at night and you will eventually have these unexplainable things happen. Most times those things will scare the crap out of ya as a warning your presence may be a trespass, it’s all a part of fishing and the stories you will experience and collect will be passed down as a part of what this community of fishermen shares generation to generation. They will become a part of the talk whenever you are out fishing waiting in the glow of the fire or lantern waiting for the next strike, clang of the bell or the drag of ur reel as the line peels off in pulsing runs not knowing what it is till the battle is won. This is the story of the ulua fisherman. Always be respectful wherever you go as I know you will always be and don’t forget to enjoy the journey which u will find to be the greater reward. Incidentally, google legend of the shark god and the Makua cave, what happened might not be so unexplainable. Stay safe and keep up the great content, thank you for sharing!

That noise we heard choke times ulua fishing on the big island & it always freaked us out till one night during a Tokunaga tournament we all heard it again so I hit my 52”light bar on my Jeep and we saw that it was Pueo (owl) that was making these noises & at same time we could see it was swooping down to catch a rat that was running on the lava rocks..think they use that noise to scare not only us but rats & mice then come in for a kill.

That reminds me of when I hiked with my friend from Waipio lookout all the way to Waimanu vally. We got there went and got water from the spring in the back and we never even had to say anything we both felt bad vibes like something wanted us to leave so we just went all the way back to the truck at the top of Waipio. It was the second time we went to Waimanu and it felt entirely different from the first time. All I know is the second we started leaving the top of Waimanu it went away. Next time I going bring a offering or something cuz it was the only time in my life I felt something like that and I was born and raised big Island.

Small kid days in Kona, Big Island we always camp out at Kukio beach. My uncle worked for Huihui ranch, so we get the gate keys a lot. Now, four seasons resort on that sacred aina...too bad!. I was sleeping and about 2:00 am or so something woke me up and i looked mauka side of Kukio lagoon and saw around 20-25 torches. I knew already night marchers going up and down because they marching on the lava field (a'a), and next morning my father and uncle said "oh yah the direction I saw was the King's trail! Woke up my brothers and cousin and they no see nothing only me...brah was chicken skin moment!

Lol I bet that was an experience you won't forget, I know I'd prolly shiit my pants. I'm not from Hawaii nor have i been to Hawaii but I've seen alot of You Tube vids about night marchers and ghost especially while fishing at night. Here on Guam when I go fishing by myself in the early morning before the sun comes up or late in the evening I always ask for permission to pass and I let them know that I am not here to disrespect anyone and that I just want to go fishing for myself and family, and then I thank them. It's for my ancestors as they used this place as their means of harvesting fish also. However there is one place where I went and i ask permission to pass and go fish that I did feel like I was being watched and like those other times I am by myself, tho nothing happened its just that feeling that you know you are being watched! but I think it's because i was a new person to that place so they were prolly watching if I was gonna disrespect that area, safe to say I got out of there before the sun went down but I did catch fish tho lol. Also I always no matter if it's mine or other people's trash I pick it up on my way out. Here on Guam I do hear stories about guys getting lost in the jungle for a day or two, my ex coworker had went crabbing near the beach at a well known spot but he told me he had a hard time getting out for almost an hr of crabbing by himself. I've been to that beach many times when I was young and even up to this day as it's one of my fishing spots but haven't experienced anything like that...yet! Thx for the vid bro and maybe next time you bring your bro's with you for safety reasons🤙🏾.

I had something happen when I fished off ko olina couple nights. My headlights caught flashes of something zooming across the rocks and it made a trippy sound that made my curly hairs straight but it was just a bird. That’s what I tell myself anyway.

Bro one time me and my friend went overnight fishing over there, and at like 2 or 3 in the morning I woke up to the sound of animals going off all around me sounded like they were only feet from me but there was nothing, sounded like a stampede, and earlier that night we hear a woman's voice saying Mom, we left but everywhere else had choke people so we ended up coming back and making camp

Nanaue still haunts there and so does the spirits of the people he killed but get the birds over there too so it could be either one but i recently was working over there by ohikilolo and we stay late and I heard and felt a few spirits around there so I’m not surprised but the best thing to do is say Pule/prayers and let them know what your over there for and that your not there to disturb or make problems..You should be good after

Never acknowledge, 5 months ago my friend was fishing for akule by himself at Kahe power plant, he heard a female voice right behind him say " hi ". He said " hi " and turned around but nobody was there..... the next day at night he was watching TV when he saw something in the corner of his eye but he ignored it, then at the foot of his bed a figure with long black hair slowly popped up and starting shaking his bed..... he got up and ran out of the room. He told his mom and they ended up calling a Kahuna to get house blessed. Everything was good after that.
