Scary storm came out of nowhere on a highway in Serbia

6 жыл бұрынOur car was heavily shaken during a crazy storm in Serbia. We were driving from Belgrad to Novi Sad on the highway. It was a normal day. No sign of any rain or storm. In just minutes everything changed and it was as if we would just entered the hell.
This images were filmed with my iPhone. When the crazy storm started to bring all kind of trash on the highway I started to film. However I wasn't expecting this crazy storm coming out of nowhere.
It was all fun until our car started to shake as a piece of paper even though this is a + 2 tons BMW 7 series. The wind was so strong that the car almost started to slide on the road. We had to stop the car and wait for this crazy storm to go away.
Thanks God after just a few minutes the storm went away and in less than 20 minutes the sky was blue again. What a crazy and scary experience.

@@ac1m641 Agreed, for the most part. In my Honda Civic, yeah, the only choice would be to keep going or stop. But, in my Toyota FJ Cruiser, I would have gone off the road to the right, turned around, and drove the opposite direction in the grass. I thought that stuff was hail at first. Nope, that was debris. I don't break traffic laws; however, in this case may have been the only option (go ahead into a possible tornado, or, turn around and drive the other way in the grass).

For anyone wondering why it looks like videogame graphics its because the sunlight is scattered by the storm giving objects soft shadows but the intensity difference between the ambient and sunlight is much greater than when it's done by a cloud layer. The foggy background also contributes to the effect.

That almost looks like a freaky tornado. Where I live in the USA, from a distance some of tornados look like either an "amorphous rolling fog" or "boiling clouds on the ground". And they can easily fool normally weather-wise people in general who do not sense the danger until the storm is right upon them.

@Abdullah Iftikhar I never would've thought of doing what they did so I don't know how obvious it is. Plus, it kinda is a "holy deed" if it keeps people safe lol. Never in my life have I seen anyone in my country do that. So good on you for living somewhere that does this automatically. It’s not an animation. This is what looks like a soft box effect. Just like in photography. A lot of clouds accumulated, thus blocking the sun and creating an even, soft light. That’s why everything looks surreal and everything sort of “pops out of the picture” or looks 3D. Pozdrav.

Been through one of those going from Texas to Louisiana, zero visibility but crazy rain and driving through water that was as high as my car window. Other cars stopping but I just had to drive fast because I would probably drown. Scariest time of my life that was over an hour. Thank you God for getting me out safely. I wonder if anyone died especially cars that stopped.

There is a rule in Serbian highways when it comes to driving in reduced visibility conditions. The speed limit in these conditions depends on how far the driver can see the dots drawn on the right of the road. There is a white dot in every 35m. If he can see 3 white dots at once the conditions are normal and the limit is 130km/h, if he can see 2 dots the limit is 60km/h and if he can see only one it's 45km/h.

I think it's real. The lack of crisp shadows is probably due to low sun visibility. At .25 speed there are incredible amounts of detail to take in. Especially reflections. Also the amount of degree and I'm having trouble seeing repeats in the animation. Also the sound seems to check as best I can tell. Still looks like some dropped an fx juicy in halo 3 though lmao.
