I hear ya. I get Being Scared, WSBH and Mortis Media's stories in whenever I can. My girlfriend gets creeped out by them and gets nightmares 😊, so I can't usually listen to them in bed. I usually pull over while I'm at work and listen to them when time permits (I'm a police officer). Nothing like sitting in a patrol car parked in the woods at 4am or so, listening to one of these five star narration generals practice their craft.

Being scared does a good job of rarely repeating content (that he previously did or another channel did)! I listen to A LOT of narrators and true horror content and the repeats get really old. It is so appreciated to hear fresh stories so frequently! The extra long length of the vids is also super nice! I also love rain in the background for sleeping! It’s the best! Oh and only 2-3 short ads in 2 hour vids?!? I love this channel!

Honestly, I'm glad the dad in the first story made sure the kid knew that his mom loved him. I think it's so important to acknowledge a child's fears while helping them understand that mental illness doesn't make people evil or necessarily dangerous. Just because a parent can't take care of a child doesn't mean they don't love them. It's very easy to make boogeymen out of people who are living in their own nightmare, but those are cheap scares and they make the real world more dangerous to vulnerable individuals. I hope the writer's mom is getting all the help she needs.

Lauran Bajoran I agree right with you, that story reminded me of my mother and her uncle. My grandma is severely schizophrenic so she would always do strange things with them around, but their father always made sure to let them know that she loves them dearly. As a kid I used to be scared, but when my mom explained it to me I felt much better and didn’t mind hanging out with her. Now, she’s much worse but she still remembers me and my mother and our birthdays. Loved ones with mental illness are still individuals no matter what ❤️

Being scared... I found out my mom’s cancer is back but this time it’s in her liver and the doctors told her there was not much hope. I fell asleep last night wanting to just die and cry myself into nothingness... then I saw where you uploaded. We found out a week ago that it was in her liver which we knew was very bad but then found out yesterday she has about 8 to 10 months with us. She’s barely 60. Thank you so much for giving me something to shut my mind off too and get some sleep today. You impact my life in amazing ways. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Being Scared! I constantly shake, twitch, and have spasms. Laying in bed I get anxiety when I realize I can't stop the shaking. Instead of I listen to your videos and It relaxes me. I still shake but I don't notice it because I'm way too into your story telling. Your voice keeps me company when my husband is at work. I love falling asleep to allegedly true scary stories. Your voice is so peaceful and soothing! Thank you so so so much for the minimal ads. I know it’s the main source of income for most creators. For someone that uses these videos to fall asleep (because I’m a twisted individual lol) I appreciate it so much, as ads can be loud and disrupt the falling asleep process. Always a proud supporter. Any of my friends that like these stories I always recommend your channel.

I always look forward to your videos. I listen to them every day while I’m at work. Your calm voice and inflection somehow makes these stories creepier. Nobody at work gets narrators and how cool it is. Thumbs up every time!
