Heyo! Malie is inspired by Lilly Constance, a character from another story of mine "How Do I Sleep?" She was born with neurological problems that became FFI (Fatal Familial Insomnia) at around 17 years old. Effectively, she became unable to sleep, leading her to lapse into a coma and die within the following year.
