This is a March 1993 episode of the short-lived American game show "Scattergories"; the two teams competing on this episode are Alan/Rick/Barry/Jason & Robyn/Celeste/Paula/Tracey. 🇺🇲 🇺🇲

LOVED this show back then. ^_^ Paula was also on Hot Streak and Jumble; her episodes of the former circulate, and she can be seen in an ad for the latter.

It may have been taped at The Glendale Studios, but much of the staff came out of NBC Studios, Burbank.

The buzzer used for matches was the same buzzer used on Sale Of The Century from 1983 to 1989 on NBC for incorrect answers and was also used on Password Plus also on NBC from 1979 to 1982 for incorrect answers and Blockbusters again on NBC from 1980 to 1982 when a contestant lost the Gold Run.

May 17-21, 1993, as "Cheers: Last Call" is promoted. Did this show had have reruns before being cancelled? I seem to remember what turned out to be older episodes with "SORRY!" and "JACKPOT!" cards in the bonus round being shown right before being taken off.

I thought the same thing as Lou Rawls for B... just surprised me that the production crew let him say it. I mean nowadays, every answer would be borderline vulgar but surprising for 1993.

This show was a hot mess. The pretaped celebrity stuff, the cheap budget, the virtual identical theme of "Scrabble (1993)" that aired before this......ugh. Great concept, terrible execution. With that said, thank you for the upload. This is a hard show to find nowadays!

At a strip joint, it's where many men are expected to see lots of sexy women....but none of them ever have any royality in their families, so it would be odd to see a prince or a princess. Also, my mother in law's book about a little girl who tries to get well known by saying her abbrevated name, would fit in because strip joints are 21 and older. I'm talking Princess K.I.M.

Contestants raise their hands to answer. Why not just have buzzers in front of them? And in the bonus round, they have the hi-hat from "Scrabble" in their sprint round. Why didn't they just use the same music for the main game?
