As u told that ...light is splitted into random directions ..when it collide with particles ....but when u pass the light from milk contains water in that case this scattered into a beam of light ....but A/q to u it must be splitted in directions .....plz clear this if u r capable to see this ...🙏🙏

Thanks for asking! Scattering happens when light hits an object and is dispersed in many directions. Splitting happens when light passes through a medium like a prism and is bent into different colors.

Scattering of light and Tyndall effect are not same...Have you heard about Mie scattering i.e. scattering of light by particles of any diameter unlike Tyndall effect
