This song was my family's theme song for when we moved to Africa in 2001. I was only seven yet i had a good understanding about what was going on. Despite being so young in my life and in my faith, I was still very scared and uncertain of what God had in store for me. I listened to this on repeat the night before my family started our next great adventure. It encouraged me to rely solely on God and put all of my trust in Him, whether I was happy with what was going on or not. Our life is not our own, and this song emphasizes our need to be faithful and allow Gods will to be done in our lives. We lived in Africa for ten years, and God received all the glory for the work that was done there.

Many years ago when my daughter Gen was a little girl I was going through a painful trial, I was tired and worn out and one afternoon I played this cd in our livingroom and was overwhelmed with the Spirit of God. I started dancing in the livingroom and Gen joined in and we danced, spinning and turning, raising our hands and raising our arms singing ♫ ♪ the song together. I'll never forget it, that moment was a new beginning for me. ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Sharing it with my daughter made it all the more special. I still dance to this song, we are never too old to dance. I’m not religious at all anymore but this song came out like a year before i was born and some of my earliest memories are hearing it on the radio. I was probably about 6 years old so around 2006. Hard to believe it’s been 16 years and I’m grown now.
