the scene between Daenerys and Missandei in the show comes off as very impersonal, they never look into each others' eyes, never even talk face to face, just walk down an alley (where there's no much to see anyways) looking forward. in the books Daenerys is trying to read Missandei, she has a personal talk with her in a private space, learns her brothers are Unsullied, and gets to know her character. this reassures Daenerys that behind the stoic mask the slavers put on them, there's still human emotions beneath them.

I enjoyed your video but I think your final take is a misstep. Feminists didn’t write that last line of “we are not men”, men wrote it. so it’s actually more cringey men writing bad girl power stuff, than feminists do this yadda yadda. These same apparent feminist writers later had Sansa say she was glad she was sexually assaulted because it made her stronger (and by strong she meant cold unfeeling and ruthless). They also had Cersei be completely unhinged, do absolutely nothing in latter seasons, and then die crying like a baby. Finally we had Dany sulking at Jons party because noone liked her (the same woman that once ate a raw dripping stallion heart amongst other things) and then flip out and go mad. So I am not really sure your final comment on femuhnuzum actually holds up. However these vids are generally great so thank you!
