Superstar Janet Jackson makes her stunning film debut in director John Singleton's (Boyz N the Hood) street-smart love story, POETIC JUSTICE. A mismatched pair pushed together on a road trip from South Central L.A. to Oakland, Justice (Jackson) and Lucky (Tupac Shakur) have only one thing in common: they can't stand each other. But as their friends Lesha and Chicago (Regina King and Joe Torry) fight and make up in the back of the van, Justice and Lucky find themselves reluctantly drawn together. The way Janet smiles and giggles like a teenager girl. Talk about she was 27 in this film and she look 16. At the end when 2Pac was looking at her. She look at back at him and just smile. They really have amazing chemistry in this film.

It’s the way Janet smiles after her and Pac kissed, like she was a teenager girl or some. Her and Pac’s chemistry in this movie was so authentic and seems so genuinely real.

The last part when 2PAC looked at her it said alot. I kinda felt his emotions. Then at one point it wanted to make me cry. Seeing this movie as a kid and he died at a young age smh.. if only pac could of been alive. The movies and music he could of MADE... THIS MAN HAD TALENT AND A MUSIC CARRER AND THE MOVIE INDUSTRY... @@kirstendoe8480 Yep! It was after Tupac was killed that Janet went into that very deep depression that preceded and inspired her Velvet Rope album. I believe that she was depressed before but Tupac’s death was what took her over into a deeper sadness. She never publicly acknowledged it though.

She was talking about who he was as a person and how kind his soul was and how she got to see a side of him that he rarely showed. She sounded like she was going to tear up. His death probably did hit her hard.

nothing was more disheartening than Tupac's death, every generation has that one celebrity death that they can't get over. for Boomers it was Jimmy Hendrix and Janis Joplin, Gen X it was John Lennon, John Belushi and Kurt Kobian, For the Millennials its Tupac, Biggie, Pun, Aaliyah, James Brown, Bernie Mac, Issac Hayes, Micheal Jackson, Whitney Houston, Robin Williams, Prince and DMX. We the only generation with Consecutive celebrity deaths every 2 to 8 years. Pac's is the one that still takes the air out the room every time because he did so much within his short reign 1991-1996 thats alot of shit in that short amount of time.

The acting is amazing considering JJ hated Tupac, and even refused to talk to him in between takes. The only time they spoke to each other in real life was during filming. Crazy how 20 year old Tupac looks like a mature grown ass man.
