20 years after a pandemic has radically changed known civilization, infected humans run wild and survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on. kinda late to say but, in this entire scene we don't see Joels other wrist (with the watch) at all. We see a glimpse of it at the beginning. I like to think he hides it from people, a reminder of what he could not protect.

@@caronstout354 Hardened survivors that have seen some shit wouldn't mention anything about the watch, broken or not. They know bad shit happens all the time. They know people have mementos they like to hold on to of those that didn't make it this far. They wouldn't care or talk about a broken watch, because it's none of their business. It's the apocalypse and everyone's got a sob story. They're interested in what you can do for them to help them survive. Maybe, after some time has gone by and trust is established, they bring up the watch, but when you're still just a stranger, they wouldn't care. They got bigger shit to worry about.

This should have just been its own spin-off series. Nick carried Parks and Rec and Murray carried the first season of White Lotus. These guys have proved they can carry shows by themselves. This episode was arguably better than the whole show. I mean there's a 10-20 year timeline here they could turn this into a multiseason show.

Ok maybe the whole "episode better than the whole show" was a bit of a stretch. But I can see a multi-season show of joel and tess before they met ellie. Or joel and tommy. I feel like bill and frank might be a bit boring cause they don't have any reason to travel outside of their town. They are "self sufficient". @@joshuaalejandro42

Cab sav tastes like acid reflux if it's a nine dollar bottle or a ninety dollar bottle. Buy a 2019 house red, pair it with a nice cheddar and a hot bath. If you are willing to spend, light a scented candle, oak/rosewater.
