Am I the only one who thinks this was Elizabeth Olsen’s best performance yet? Like, she’s genuinely terrifying. If I encountered her on the street, I would run away crying(after I finished with my fanboying freakout, of course)😂

I think it's important to note that Wanda doesn't have two personalities. Wanda and the Scarlet Witch are one in the same. They aren't different personas. Wanda's mind wasn't locked away, the Darkhold simply continued to corrupt her as she used it and caused her to make decisions she normally wouldn't make.

Sorry, but the very short scene near the beginning where “Stephen” Strange wearing a “regular” suit at Christine’s wedding, and hops off the balcony while “transforming” into “Doctor” Strange was pretty badass.

As I was watching the movie, I saw a lot of similarities between Wanda's story arc and Wenwu from Shang-Chi. Both were lost in grief and gave in to the dark influence that drove them blindly to try and get their loved ones back at any cost. The moment Wenwu realize his wife wasn't behind the dark gate was like the moment the Scarlet Witch realized her kids saw her as a monster. It is the full realization that all of this was for nothing and that there was no point in going on.

Why couldn't Wanda just say I could read minds and I know what's been happening when Strange was suspecting her accidentally said America's name? She didn't have to confess so quick 😂

All of the scenes with Wanda in this film are great, but the scenes where Wanda is talking to Strange at the beginning of the movie and Wanda's fight with the Illuminati are my favorite.

My faves were : 1. illusion Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch made from that cherry blossoms trees into a horrible forbidden forest. 2. Kamartaj attack along with the half cow ( head ) and half human ( body ) which I think he's a big deal in the comics but he was just a cameo for kamartaj with sorcerers in the movie. 3. Doctor Strange while in the wedding just jump off the building while fast changing his superhero outfit just made me jaw-dropped hard when I was in the cinema. 4. When 616 Wanda tried the dream walking to 838 Wanda,all things happening there are what I loved and that freaking one is eerie yet curious to what's gonna happen next makes your eyes glued on that big screen plus when her flight in the bright full moon. 5. Glimpses of the different universes when America Chavez opened that star portal and also that tour in futuristic New York, plus that memory lane ( i wonder what would it show to the 838 Wanda while 616 Wanda controlled her ) 6. The cloak of the damned ( Zombie Defender Strange ) 7. When 616 Wanda was treated like a goddess by those big guys in the castle. 8. When 838 Christine Palmer finally used the thing Doctor Strange throw from the first movie to the guys chasing him, that was wicked cool ! 9. Everytime 616 Wanda controlled America Chavez and made her eyes glowing red opening the star portals plus the jumpscare hair pull 838 possessed Wanda when Doctor Strange, Christine Palmer and America Chavez found the book of vishanti.

My favorite scene is a toss up between the first Dream Walking sequence and when she enters Kamar Taj via the reflections.

Strange already knew that sakura/cherry blossoms like orchard wasnt real 1:55 bcoz when he smelled one of those petals he was like “ smells real “ 💁🏻‍♀️💯… Scarlet Witch may be more powerful than Strange in his own film but if Strange gets a hold of the Book of Vishanti he can easily wipe the floor with Scarlet Witch even if shes under the possession of the Dark Hold 💯💁🏻‍♀️… in the comics “ Avengers disassembled “ Strange easily defeated the Scarlet Witch by just using the “ Eye of Agamotto “…. so it really depends on the writer of the story… Wanda indeed has raw powers ahead of Strange but Strange has vast knowledge and vast experience at his disposal…not to mention he already defeated entities way more powerful like leagues ahead of the Scarlet Witch in terms of powers… and those who haved read a lot of Strange comics knew this…💁🏻‍♀️💯

The movie never spoke of Wanda being trapped in her own my by the influence of the dark hold. That was an alternate Wanda being trapped in her mind by our universe Wanda at the time through the dream walk. Our Wanda was simply corrupted and made a mistake

The Orchard Hex and Kamar Taj attack are my fave scenes!

The Scarlet Witch isn't like a force that possess Wanda, the Wanda Professor X talks to is 838 Wanda being trapped in her own mind due to 616 dream walking. Wanda literally tells the audience and Dr Strange that the lying was hard for her, so she really did just slip up by saying America's name. She probably slipped up because the dark holds influence wanted her to go full SW and take everything for herself by force, destroying everything in her path and causing chaos among the multiverse.

The wanda encased in the rubble during the prof x fight is the 838 wandas mind. Because the 616 wanda has dreamwalked into her. It is not 616 wandas mind being closed off and overran by the scarlet witch persona.

Honestly, one of the better super hero movies. I've got Logan, Thor: Ragnarok and Spider-Man: No Way Home as my top 3 but this one might be top 5, if not, not far outside my top 5. Considering there are like 30 MCU movies that's not bad.

Re the Illuminati: I got vibes of the X-Force “bait and switch” in Deadpool 2… the trailer set them up, only for events to brutally mow them down. DP2 was obviously played for laughs but the end result was still pretty much the same. And I’m okay with that! 😁

How I would love to see battles of scarlet witch vs Jean Grey who killed professor x and when jean grey was deafeated the days of futures past Sentinels appears and copying all wandas powers... And then the battle ended up on a tie when a modified version of leech get in.

Strange is powerful and Wanda probabbly stronger though I did get the feeling that Strange was holding back, she is still a team member and he feels her pain, but my complaint is that if that creature in New York was Shuma, then Strange or/and Scarlet Witch together would not stand a chance, hell Thanos with the Infinity gauntlet could not take him down, so either you are wrong and it was just another lower or lesser demon, or the guys at the Marvel studios made a mistake.

I wonder if Clea it also America Travis is going to lead them to you going forward the next 10 years is already mapped out so I was wondering is he going to be replaced because Doctor Strange is dead in the comics

Looper's thepry that the Darkhold just buried Wanda's real personality and her mentioning America's name as a 'desperate attempt to save the girl's life' is just a desperate attempy to save Wanda's character. I know, it is a bummer they turned her into a villain so soon, but this is inaccurate.
