Scenic Schindler Miconic 10 500A Modded Elevators (High Rise) at Marriott Marquis, New York, NY

I made it to some very famous elevators! These are my first (real) Miconic 10s. My actual first Miconic 10s were at Top of the Rock, but those sort of don't count because they are attendant-controlled by an attendant operating panel on each floor. These are very nice and very fast. These are probably my first high-rise scenic elevators (that aren't in an observation deck). These are the high rise cars (A-F) that serve floors 1-8 and 28-45. I also filmed the low rise cars (G-L) and one of the internal cars.

Handicap mode messed up the system bc when you use handicap mode for High Rise all it gets you is A&B then Low Rise it gets you K&L just in case you didn’t notice that

I think the trick only works on (a) certain floor(s). I think it’s like the 3rd floor or something.

To get to the secret floor, punch in 55 on the 3rd floor and it'll take you there. Or if youre lucky, and you get car F or G, you can open the elevator cabinet and push the 49th floor button. I learned that from GPGBDAF.

So heres which passengers elevators serve which floors and which dont Cars A-E serve highrise floors and also floor 23 Cars M & N serve high rise floors, basement 1, and DO NOT serve 23 (fitness center), Car F serves high rise floors, and floor 9, 46, 48-49 Car G serves low rise floors, floor 9, and 47-49 Car H-L serves low rise floors, does not serve floor 9 O & P serves the first basement, and the low rise floors, skips floor 9

There aren’t. I used to call a lot of things 500A when they aren’t. I need to go back and fix titles from old videos.

I think these are actually 700 or 7000. 500A was only used for new installs.

They’re not 7000, because they started in 2013, and are only used for new installs. I thought 700 was a bottom drive model.

7000 came way before 2013, as seen here:web.archive.org/web/20070820181248/www.us.schindler.com/sec_index/sec_pass_entry/sec_pass_highrise/sec_pass_highrise_7000.htm It has existed since at least 2006-07, if not earlier.
