Most of these places I would never visit if not forced to go there, then videos/pictures from the air says so little. Like the best place for you can be the place you least expected. Even if I am from the archipelago my best place I ever visited was a place we rented when my cousin got married in Terjärv close to kokkola. It was an old house at the edge of a "river lake", the lake was totally mirror still every evening and the lawn was almost at the water level. There was a cozy little sauna and a little "pier" with benches. In the air you could smell cow dung and the only sounds were made by us or the birds. (Summer place) In the winter the most magical place you can ever visit is the forest on skies when the trees bow to you and create tunnels for you, there is nothing more magical than when you can enjoy the art of mother nature. (around february when the sun starts to show again and wet snow bends the trees) I spring, just visit a place that has snow and watch how nature comes alive again. How the snow and ice melts to give room to the first brave flowers and insects.(you need to almost live here to experience the entire change, avoid cities because there the snow turns black and full of sht from the cars plus city people) In autumn be here when mother nature paints the trees and the forest provides you with many different kinds of delicious treats. My point is that there are magical places everywhere, you just need to be brave enough to explore to find yours. Lapland will probably be a safe bet in winter(you never know with the winters now days due to global warming and we are hit even harder than the rest so we can get black winters without snow in the south) and Archipelago in summer(I would suggest renting a bike and use the small ferry's that go from Turku to Mariehamn or Turku to Kustavi"big ring road" or Kustavi to Mariehamn then there is also something called the "little ring road", but you might need to reserve room on one of the ferry's at least with a car).

This is to anyone who's planning to visit Finland: If you want to experience Finland, please do not stay in Helsinki. The environment is absolutely stunning in the South-Eastern area where we have an abundance of lakes. Especially the lake Saimaa which is the largest lake in Finland. In Helsinki you will see some old buildings and generic modern architecture, shops etc. But if you are into something more, please explore. 👍

I turned off the video at 4:19 when I heard city Tampere pronounced for xy time very wrong. Do a little better research how to pronounce what, because not everything has to have english pronounciation.
