This is amazing looking at the recognizable features of the landscape (Stori Hrutur, Langihryggur, Meradalir, Geldingadalir, 'spectator hill') pre lava, and knowing those are now gone and changed forever. And RIP Bob, Flo and the kids!

I always loved how lava would just flow out of the volcano after it erupted so watching a video consisting of soothing sounds of flowing lava and also very beautiful sounding music makes for an amazing video

I actually went to Iceland last year (2021) and visited this volcano but unfortunately it was taking a nap when I got there (it had been erupting the night before!). Being able to see how it looked like when all the lava was spurting out is amazing!
