This riding style can be achieved by focussing on SAFETY and smoothness. As you ride safely(applying motorcycle cop cornering line, using trailbraking to progressively load the front tire, and just being smooth with inputs on your controls) you'll slowly but surely ride like this :)

Your riding skills reminds me of my last tour this year. Was already 4 hours on the bike and got overtaken by a local driver skilled like you in the area I was in. I thought I can keep up with him and crashed after 15minutes... reminds me: I am an idiot and best is to find own speed at the routes you not know.

One of the best sections of road I know! Slovenian side is nice for supermoto and Austrian side has long sweeping corners. There is also very little traffic and good route connections to other great roads. My favourite afternoon ride destination for great fun on a supermoto.

This is really useful stuff. Whilst riding hairpins for the first time in the Alps last year, I was using 1st gear on the tight turns but had a doubt whether that was the correct technique. Your videos helped a lot, thanks.

For a WHOLE lotta fun, open the KZfaq link of Schaaf doing the same ride in 2014 (linked in the description) in another window and have them "race" side-by-side on your screen. You will have to pause as there is a construction zone slow-down in the 2014, but for the most part, that little CB500 keeps up to the Ducati! The peg dragging you will hear is all from the CB500. Have fun.... I did!!!

Love the lane discipline on the tight hairpins. Even when there's good visibility and no traffic, its better to use only one lane. No real benefit to using all of the road, getting on the gas 0.2s earlier won't affect the temperature of lunch.

OMG was eine geile Strecke.... da wo der Asphalt gut aussieht laden die langezogenen Kehren zum knieschleifen grade zu ein. Das wäre eine der Strecken die ich an einem Tag mehfach rauf und runter fahren würde. Und dann ist der Verkehr fast bicht erwähnenswert. Eine perfekte Strecke für meine Street Triple 😍

None of those corners are for first gear, and you are as smooth as large broken rocks. But I do thank you for showing how well that bike copes with abuse. I've ordered one.

It was not my intention to ride smoothly. It was my intention to have fun and whatever someone defines as having fun differs from person to person. I'm having the most fun with a bike at the top of its power. Which requires first gear in sharp hairpins. And that's what those corners are. You just can't see it because an ultra wide angle lens turns every sharp bend into a 200 kph+ corner. Congrats on getting a fantastic bike. Maybe try to be less of a judgemental dck some day.

Dank dir! Leider schlecht! Die hätt ich heuer fahren wollen, aber leider hatte der 1000PS Dauertester, den ich ausführen wollte, dann die längste Zeit elektronische Defekte. Und nachdem ich immer nur die brandaktuellen Modelle untern Hintern bekomm, hab ich hier meine Chance leider verpasst!

Sauber gfahrn. Haben dort in die andere Fahrtrichtung schon mal Bremsen verraucht. Aber vielleicht solltest mal über die google maps - links nachdenken, weil ja immer mehr gute Strecken mit Motorrad-exklusive Wochenendfahrverboten oder Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen versehen werden. Derlei promotion ist da sicher nicht förderlich... ;=) weil ja auch wirklich die besten und griffigsten Kehren innerhalb der Grenzen. :)

That can't be right. It appears you're having fun and zipping by everyone but that just can't be. You're not on a 200+ horsepower bike. Surely the internet can't be wrong about needing 200 hp to have a "real" bike. Must be done through video editing.

Schöne Strecke und super Kurven. Für mich erschließt sich jedoch nicht, warum Du permanent so hochtourig, fast nur im ersten und zweiten Gang unterwegs bist. Der Ducatimotor hat doch Kraft ohne Ende und verreckt doch auch nicht im Dritten, aus einer Kehre heraus. Bleib gesund und komm gut ins Jahr 2021. Viele Grüße

@@Schaaf Die 950 er Multistrada bin ich noch nicht gefahren, nur die Große. Hatte mich dann aber für eine KTM 1290 S entschieden. Die habe ich mit einem, zwei Zähnen mehr bestückten Kettenblatt ausgerüstet und da geht eigentlich fast alles im Zweiten/Dritten Gang, um die Kehre.

Wird hier die Jordanische Fluggesellschaft "Royal Jordanian" mit dem KZfaq Kanal von "RoyalJordanian" verwechselt? Ich weiß von einer Husqvarna Nuda, welche dieses Jahr 2 mal auf mexikanischen Bierwellen über den Seebergsattel gesurft ist und 2 mal der Speisekarte hatte ;).
