Schaffhausen, Switzerland, is a picturesque small town located in the northern part of the country, near the German border and just 20 kilometers from Zurich, Switzerland's largest city. It lies peacefully on the banks of the Rhine River, with the world-famous Rhine Falls just a stone's throw away (for more information on the Rhine Falls, please visit my channel). In the city center, an imposing clock tower rises, surrounded by well-preserved medieval buildings, including the magnificent Schaffhausen Castle. Each building seems to be a time tunnel, taking you through history. Schaffhausen is also known for being the headquarters of many watch manufacturers and is therefore referred to as the "Watch City."
