@@wastelandlegocheem I don't think it's fair to compare other sequels to Across. Because unlike 99.9% of sequels, ATSV was already planned when ITSV came out. The creators had the story they wanted to tell in mind and were waiting to see if the original was a success. Pretty much every other sequel is thought of entirely because of the originals success, not pre-planned

When Schaffrillas felt extremely crabby about his thoughts on Nevermind 2, I felt the exact same way too. It’s the kind of sequel that has no right to exist in the first place, and the closest sequel to Megamind that we can get is The Button of Doom, despite that one being a short film instead.

I love Schaff because he doesn't try to be a "grrrr I hate everything" kind of critic but at the same time he doesn't drive purely on nostalgia analysis, he can be very critical of stuff he loves and even tries to say positive things about stuff he hates

He's identical to Nostalgia Critic, except his introspection and derision isn't contrived. He doesn't just senselessly hate things, he doesn't just analyse things. He has and builds a personal relationship with these films, even the bad ones. He has such creative comparisons and observations. He doesn't hold the strictest biases or disregard a movie's strengths.. He wants the best of these films. He judges them fairly and passionately. Quite frankly, he's the Nostalgia Critic, but better. He doesn't just senselessly ridicule or get upset. To the extent that this video of Schaff getting upset is maybe a small fraction of his overall content.
