What a brave last fight the Scharnhorst Crew fought! Impressive!

Absolutely stunning! The video was incredibly beautiful, the presentation was top notch, and the Scharnhorst's story is the epitome of the Kriegsmarine. It definetely has that high-quality documentary feeling. Thanks for bringing this story to life, and showing how kick-ass the Shiny Horse was. I adore german ships for every damn reason. (I bought a Tirpitz and recently got my Bismarck, such lovely ships, Tirpitz is my most played ship). They were such frightening ships that they had to send entire divisions just to sink one of them (Bismarck and Scharnhorst are the best examples). They are elegant, switft, with great armor, and the tripulation of those ships would fight to the death. I would love to get the Scharnhorst or the Z-39, but the Scharnhorst would definetely make me the happiest man on Earth. I've played my fair share of the already great Gneisenau, and loved it to bits, she is fast and hits like a truck, and the secondaries are absolutely amazing. Scharnhorst, I feel, is even better. (and it's my favorite Yuro video too) She is the real deal, Gneisenau gets the bigger guns like the Bismarck and that's fine but I would LOVE to try the intended design of the ship. Scharnhorst's smaller guns fit the playstyle of the ship like a glove. She is the de facto cruiser-hunter, the best brawler Battleship at Tier VII. I love brawlers, getting up-close and personal, letting cruisers get confident, evade their torps, and KABLAMO, they get torped or citadel-ed to death. Having torpedoes in a battleship is the most fun you can have, and why I prefer my Tirpitz to the Bismarck. In general, she is the perfect representation of the way I play the game. I know that she is in offer today, and it breaks my heart knowing that I will not be able to get her with a discount (I would if I could, I really would). I never get lucky with giveaways, so whoever gets her should feel really lucky, it's a great ship and you will have countless hours of fun with her. An great uncle served on the Scharnhorst and only survived because he had Christmas vacation. He told me this Ship was hard to sink and he felt save on it. 11 torp. hits to sink her telling every thing you have to know about the konstruktion. She had weak points but the engines still running wile sinking and that after 11 torp. hits.

And then I realized that I was really looking at "a painted ship upon a painted sea." In other words, a painted ship upon a painted "C" G.I. - I knew she had been lost in the war; but, I had not known how or where until today! Many sincere thanks!

Just found this channel, thanks to the old man himself. Got to say, your presentation style is magnificent. I got the Scharnhorst in game and picked up the Scharnhorst B to compliment it. I'm honestly more of a cruiser or DD player, but I absolutely LOVE the Scharnhorst. I got into the German BB line when I managed to get a Bismarck in a crate a couple patches ago, and on my first crate that was also my first free crate. The GK ended up being my first T10 BB because of that. I'll just add my vote to all the rest, make Jingles your regular narrator, please! His tone and measure make you *feel* the videos. Keep up the excellent work and I really hope you get noticed in a big way and get the props you deserve.

Beautiful, powerful ships.( Sharnhorst and Gineusesu) But because they were built and used for evil, they met their demise. As a proud U.S. NAVY veteran I salute the brave crew of those ships on both sides. They carried out their duties under fire in the tradition of sailors and Navies around the world.

Great presentation with great narration .. im new player currently playing only KMS cruiser line hoping to get Hindenburg .. currently at T6 Nurnberg .. i've learn a lot using this fragile ship on how to play & not getting the blown away early in the games .. it would've lovely to get Scharnhorst .. im on Asian server & my ign : babybooo ..

My understanding is that Sheffield was not beaten off, she was not hit in the action. She suffered a catastrophic gearbox failure and was unable to keep up with the chase.

I guess this came as no surprise to Hitler, who had written off the surface units of the Kriegesmarine by then. British intelligence by then knew everything, or so it seems to me. Did you mention that? The Royal navy had success throughout the war against German surface units, even back in '39 against the Graf Spee.

One second in: "Hey, isn't that Jingles?" And here I am on the one day I wanted something non-WOWS related to do :D
