@@stefanstamatov7725 I´m not sure but I think model B makes fewer screw pitches than model C. Model A does not have screw thread.

I own one 1993 vintage. It is like new with little use. The only thing is an operator I had for awhile would ding with his allen wrench on top of the compound feed slide while he listened to music... where just fwd of the operating handle... so it has some dings in the finish. That pissed me off and he quit rather than correct the problem. But don't think they are perfect. The electric feed mechanism has a bundle of hard to adjust mechanical electrical custom made plunger switch controls... literally waiting for any excuse to go out of adjustment... and you got several hours of fiddly trial and error adjustment. To me the spindle drive variable speed is awkward and would be better like a late model Monarch EE electronic control small knob adjust. So I purchased a new Baldor variable speed motor and French made feedback control system to give me that. The stupidest thing is the need for 380v 3 phase power... the machine is a 208v machine except for the coolest pump which is 380v. So the line coming in is 380v then couple different internal transformers convert it to 208v to drive the spindle and work the controls but the only thing that needs 380v is the coolest pump. Aggravating when you have to purchase a step drown from 440v isolation supply transformer. And, last but not least is the manual and electrical diagram is in French.

Don't make them anymore... the last ones were in the 1990s and close to $100K. The tailstock was even an option and cost $5500.00. I did purchase an optional turret tailstock but you don't want to know what that went for between it and the tailstock I could have bought an excellent used Monarch 10EE and had it restored to new. The collet set was nearly $200 per collet. Swiss ain't cheap.

Realy? Not this one.. the 125 is a very cheapy Lathe. The worst who is build by Schaublin, sorry... Ligthyears better are the 102, 135 and of course the Star of all: the 150!!

Mark van H. Yes shure, sorry for that… i ve ben working with those types many, many years. Note: the spindel on the 125 is not connected with the feed. For feedrate there ar using a separat motor, not toothweels who are normal used for it. It makes it cheaper to build, but if you turn your workpieces an change the Spindelspeed, the feedrate will rest the same in mm/min so you have a different surface and a user who doe this as a proffesional will allways have troubles by measureing!! No Prismatic guides, only the simple ones in rectangulare…Prismatic ones are better cause they are selfcentrated. You better look for a 102N VM or 135, the 150 are very very rare ones an not easy to find...

I worked for a company that had a machine just like this. Very good machines but the Monarch 10ee I ran was a vastly superior Machine. The Monarch is more rigid machine an just as accurate if not more so.

This was build as a cheap, quick Machine for lower Budget. Is ok for use, but there are much better Schaublin lathes than this. Trust me...

kann man sehen wie man will, das leben ist zu 100% subjektiv. kommt immer darauf an was der mensch BRAUCHT. vieles ist präziser als der benutzer eigentlich wert ist und in der lage ist zu verwerten. prestigegefrage, hahahaaa. wer das geld dafür ausgibt, bitte. man kann aber das gleiche ergebnis erzielen---man muss es natürlich können, wenn man bedeutend weniger ausgibt. ist meine persönliche lebenserfahrung und vor allem die erfahrung mit maschinen im bereich metallverarbeitung.MAN KANNS SCHON ÜBERTREIBEN GELL.
