Hi Scheib!!😀😀 That's exactly how I would have done it. The noodles made less of a mess than all the shrapnel that was coming from trying to split it. It will stack up so much nicer than the split wood will. Glad to see you got it done. Take care buddy!!😀😀💚💚 Logger Al

Hey Scheib, that is the best noodling video I’ve ever seen,👍 I have done that a lot, with monster chunks. I always preferred my 088 or my 3120. But the 500i looks like it did a good job.

I think you have me convinced that Sycamore is THE worst firewood to split. Yesterday I split 19 rounds of sycamore and it was horrible, worse than elm! So nice job on the noodling and best of luck getting rid of it.

Great video Scheib! Found your channel and subscribed about a month or so back. Been catching up on your older videos as well. On the bright side with the Sycamore, you got to run the 500i all day noodling it. A bad day doing that is better than a good day at work 😆. Love the channel, keep up the great work! 👍

i got two more medium size hickory trees to slice up and sum hickory tops to cut one really nice red oak and a big water oak to tackle then 5 smaller pines to get that i'll be thru for a while i luv doin it

The saws uses good bit more fuel than the splitter, but the noodling probably took less time than splitting that miserable stuff! Bonus is that those nice blocks will stack better than any split sycamore 🤣.
