His comment when he says “don’t I have the right to choose who I love” just hit different. Tired of these second leads, male or female, trying to force love on someone who never showed an interest in the first place.

His mother didn't help the situation, she also gave her false hope. That being said she was just delusional she knew he rejected the other young lady because he only saw as a sister and a friend and if she would have been honest with her scheming self she knew he never had those kind of feelings for her. I love that he is not a pushover and will not let his mother and her parents force him to marry her.

I agree. In her mind, the ML belongs to her because she wants him. She does not listen to his heart at all, but dismisses what he says when she doesn't like what he says, and she thinks she's good enough for him? That she loves him? That's not her loving him; that's her loving herself. And how does she think he will like a mean girl anyway, someone willing to hurt another person! Even if she manipulated everyone around her and ended up with the ML as her man, how could she feel secure and happy? She needs a man who is into her, chases her, loves her for herself. So I wish she'd give up and move on.

@@juliawildasin4649 She really don't love him, she has just convinced herself that because they have known each other for so long and that her parents and his mother wants them together then that how it's supposed to be. Also I think she doesn't really like Fang Qian and if he marries her that's a slap in the face for Fang Qian.

I don't think that it cant really function but when you have a person who does one job that most people can do and they just disappear then it will be a little chaotic at first especially since they don't know where they're at. My sister is management, mom works in shipping and I worked in a different department at the same company. My sister has a specific job that no one can do so when there was an emergency with her grandma and she had to leave out of state fast it was stressful like this at the company. The only good thing is after this situation the company let her train someone else for backup so it wouldn't happen again.

What she failed to acknowledge was that Mo Fei helped him sign with the embroidery company because the owner was her mentor. She also helped him meet up with the lady in France he had been trying to get an appointment with. So "Miss I'm the only who can help you in business" is so wrong.

She was such a bitch due to jealousy, because she apparently loved him. Yet the other girl (I forget her name) who loved him, when she found out he loved someone else she didn't moan or cry and was very adult about it all. I am a big fan of Chinese dramas but there seems to be an underlying thread of unhinged females in Romantic dramas. They seem to think that just because they love a man that it's their God given right to have him marry her. It's as if the male has no right to decide for himself who he wants to be with. I've watched this drama a couple of times and I really liked that he was so decisive in that he wouldn't allow anyone tell him who he could or couldn't be with.

I never understood why these second always get away with doing things while the female leads get hurt by their foolishness. She is too brazen. Doesn’t the man has a mind of his own. They never understand that the man didn’t love them in the first place. If he did, they would have been together long time

I wonder why in all these dramas , when they want to talk to each other , they always go to restaurants, parks , top of a buildings , isolated areas 😃🤪 Always eating , drinking while talking 🙄 😄. Can’t they simply talk , have to eat & drink , sometimes get drunk, 😳. Very funny these dramas sometimes 🧐🤓

Mr. Tang's assistant is delusional, they ran away to his uncle's place when they were kids , so she based all her love on that and growing up together? Dam! if he hasn't shown his love for you as more then friends, lame woman get a clue, his love interest is not you, all these years and zero nothing! Lame Assistant go have tea often with Mr. Tang's mother. You and her can pretend you know who's best for Mr. Tang to love. Wow! Dream on.

Cuando entenderan estas mujeres u hombres que quieren forzar a que sean amados que el asunto no funciona asi. El amor es algo que se da porque nace no porque sea forzado ni exigido. Esa tonta penso que irse de la compañia haria que el se sintiera movido a pensar que ella era indispensable y que asi la iba a querer. Y se equivoco grandemente.

So how does leaving the company at a critical time shows your trust and effectiveness? I don’t understand this lady. Does caring about someone means you’re in love with them? These ladies who are vying for the male lead’s affection always assume they know what he wants and needs. A man knows his mind more than you. A man will have riches so he doesn’t need a rich wife, he needs something else that you can’t buy with money. These ladies never get that. He needs someone who can see him behind the money and wealth

Exactly, but I will say what she did didn't hurt the business in a crippling way because he could still take care of the company, he just had to rearrange schedules to take care of business. I watched one where the one that claimed to love him sold company plans to a rival. Another did something with contracts that almost made the company go bankrupt. These women don't know what love is because no one deliberately causes trouble for the one the claimed to love. Their love is too costly and none of the male leads can afford that kind of love.
