Hi Soumya Thank you for such a detailed video. Request you to share the cover letter which you have Also one small thing VFS offices in Mumbai do not allow you to carry your laptop so I would recommend not to carry your laptop there as you will have to deposit it with them :)

Thank you! 1. The embassy called only my husband and asked him some questions about our trip. 2. Financials proofs are upto you so you can show records of all your investments to strength your case.. if you already have enough money in your bank account and MF statements then additional proofs might not be needed!

Not mandatory but just good as additional proofs! In your cover letter/itinerary you can always mention the bookings will be done locally on reaching there

You can ask whoever is inviting you to send a mail with all details about the trip dates, finances and their own details in Europe. You can then show that as a proof

Hey! It’s mandatory if you have been earning and filing taxes. Otherwise you can mention in your cover letter the reason behind not having the ITRs. Also if someone else is funding your trip make sure to carry their fund details as well.

Hi I am trying to apply visa from Bangalore for Austria tourist visa. But when I am trying to fill the details, I am provided with the download link to download the form and no online link is there. How should I proceed?? Should I select the appointment date and visit with the downloaded application form?

Yes you need to book your appointment. You can take a printout of the application form, fill it and then take it to the application centre along with other documents. Good luck 👍

Ma'am I'm from Nepal and currently I'm residing in Romania, Now I want to apply for schengen visa but it had been just 8 months I arrived in Romania, so instead of 3 years of ITR can I show 8 months of income tax return of Romania or it wouldn't helped me out???

If you have only 8 months of ITR you should mention in your Cover letter the reason behind not having 3 years of data. Or if you have ITR from Nepal then you should attach that as well

Flight tickets paid or dummy or internal transport booking need?

You need to show confirmed flight tickets. You can go through agents who know how to make dummy bookings. Internal bookings also needed specially when you are visiting multiple countries.

Our visa was starting a day before our trip. You can apply in advance upto 6 months before your intended trip. Not before that I think.

Depends on the duration and destination of your trip.. for a 10 days trip I think around 1.5L could be a good amount given that you’ll have your flight and hotel bookings done already
