Schiaparelli spring/summer 2023 Review Schiaparelli reminds me of early 90s power fashion. Iconic timeless walking art couture pieces. They are not confused with anyone else’s brand. True & Unique. I luv that they embrace faux fur.As no animals are harmed in the making of their Art Couture.Every season is brilliance . Always with A Futuristic Concept. But with Excellent Taste.

Lions, Tigers and Bears! Oh my! I would love to hear Daniel's inspiration. Some truly exquisite looks, some not so. Interesting that he really limited his sculpted gold jewelry and adornments focusing on the simple purity of the garment.

They're for sure fake. A real head is heavy due to bone mass.

Yes! They were carved out of foam and the "fur" is made out of silk.

It’s still ultra lame, the spirit of the thing is that it’s made of a dead animal

They could easily have better employed the skill of the labourers at their disposal to make something inspired by the animals more cerebrally, which would have been more Schiaparelli than an homage to something repugnant, however much skill it took.

i saw a lot of looks in this that reminded me of elden ring, I wonder if the designer actually took some influence from it

@@andreja9425 I think its because Daniel took inspiration from Dante's Inferno for this show, but its wonderful to think designers get influenced by games too! another great example is Nicolas Ghesquire's Louis Vuitton 2020 Resort- created what feels like an homage to Final Fantasy 8, from the costumes, styling, setting (Balamb Garden) to its music (FF8 Opening Theme)

Terrible collection, it is another haute couture collection, the lion, the tiger have no connection with each other, only there are colors that do not appear again, it surprises me, but I was completely disgusted to see animals as trophy.

they’re not real animals or even real fur, it’s all silk and molded foam and such

The gimmicks in this display took the attention from the amazing work of their ateliers, I hope the next one is less clunky
