Today we wanna show you a pretty special Fixed-Gear bike. The Schindelhauer Hektor. Schindelhauer is a Berlin based bike brand which grow out of the Fixed-Gear szene. All Schindelhauer bikes come without at regular chain and have instead a Carbon Belt Drive.
Schindelhauer asked us to test there new generation of the Hektor frame and wanted a honest feedback from us. And we really need to say: This Bike suprised us in may different ways. Schindelhauer is really passioned into the details of there bike desings and you see that in many points!

As an American, I have always loved the attention to detail and creative solutions that German engineering tends to provide. I only recently learned that there are belt drive fixed gears out there, and I think this may be my new dream bike. It looks incredible. Great review and very impressive tricking.

If you take the belt out and put it back capturing the procedure and also describing it, it is a video, if you just show designs and speak about it, it is an article. You posted an article to a video platform.

Thanks for such a thorough review. I am impressed by the drop out design. One question, did you measure from floor to actual bottom of bottom bracket, or to center of bottom bracket? I assume the former, but just wanted to be sure. If measurement was to bottom of cylinder, then yes, that is nice and high and if outfitted with clipless road pedals, which are much narrower, one would be able to safely pedal through corners.

It is- gates recommends only skidding if using their more durable cdx drive components

change sprocket and belt of course to match the different length requirenment. Actually it's easy to do.

Schönes Radl. Wieso man jetzt zum "Trickriden" so eine Highend Maschine brauchen soll erschließt sich mir ehrlich gesagt nicht. Als Anfänger packt es einen doch ständig auf die Fresse und dann hat der schöne 5Tsd Euro Rahmen ganz schnell sehr viele Macken. Für mich irgendwie leicht abwegige Kombination , sorry.

Tellement ridiculement dangereux de filmer quelqu'un rouler à toute vitesse sans casque entre les voitures. Vraiment inconscient. Faire la promotions d'acrobatie c'est bien, mais faire faire ça au milieu des voitures c'est vraiment ridicule.
