I work for the Remanufacturing division of CAT...and all the people who do not like CAT engines products etc. U have no idea what kind of passion CAT puts into their products, whether its A combine, MH, or engine its built with passion, I build 1,300+ HP engines everyday for CAT and lots of passion and pride go into my work, as for the other 140 people on my shift, they're the same way!!!

@cld0525 the lexion 590&595 is 462hp-516hp variable. My family is picking about 250 acres per day (sometimes more sometimes less) of corn with 2 590's with 12 row heads.

In Brazil is made harvesting and planting tractor comes in behind .... but we do not have silos, roads, railways and diesel is the most expensive in the world because of taxes .... Still Brazilian farmers is increasing productivity and production year after year ....

My neighbor has a John Deere and Claas Lexion. He says the Claas is twice the combine and that JD's are downright terrible. The Lexion he says burns half as much fuel and is way bigger on capacity. And he says this year with all the rain at harvest that the compaction was terrible on the fields with the JD. Was like putting trenches in that gumbo.
