That PDQ style bolt release is a very nice addition! Would be even better on a semi auto! The controls all over looked very good. Need to start saving!

Very nice thank you for the video just be careful with these as I know someone that owns one and they found out the hard way it's not millspec so some furniture won't fit !

I must say, I do like keymod, I think it looks better aesthetically, even though you can put less accessories onto it.

I used to dislike straight pull AR's for reasons political. But over the years I have come around. And I think that lead me to start not hating .22 lr AR's too. I just don't do enough shooting to own a rifle like the SP15.

M-lok vs K-mod (is that right) would bother me in the US but not here. If I was shopping for one of these it would end up looking HBAR A2 anyway.

TBH a short (12 inch) with a can in .300blk would probably be the coolest of the straight pulls as it kinda makes sense to do legalities aside (aka it'd be cool even if you could own the semi auto as it'd be super quiet).

A very detailed and informative video! I am considering applying for a license next year and getting one if these ss smive always been into shooting but never owned anything apart from co2 pistols. This schmeizer is probably creme of the creme but its straight pull. Can you reccomend a semi automatic in the AR 15 style rifles? I think they come under a different calibre? I am just starting off as a newbie with a few days in watching these videos for what's allowed in the UK. Thank you.

Hi Rack, thanks for posting, its not clear and I cant get any info on this, does the handguard have a QD sling stud mount anywhere or something I will need to buy later? Cheers :)

Hi buddy, there is a Gen 2 now and it does on the stock, front handguard is mlok instead of keymod. Full review coming soon 👍

Have you ever tested the TROY PAR ("pump action rifle")? It's an AR style pump action rifle that comes in 223 or 300 BLK or a larger version in 308.

Basically it's illegal in the UK unless you have a special dealers license...

@@racknload Yes they banned pump centre fire rifle at the same time as the semi auto centre fire ban on the mainland of the UK. :(

I know but 30 round Pmags are only 25 quid. I have surplus SA80 mags that work fine too...
