Schneider Topball 850 Rollerball Refill Review

Күн бұрынThis is a review of the Schneider Topball 850 rollerball refill ( amzn.to/3nnLVMu ), a close competitor to the popular Schmidt 888 ( amzn.to/37i7OqC ). Ultimately both are good and I like the blue of the Schneider better, but the Schmidt is cheaper and easier to find, so I'd recommend buying that over the Schneider.

this is my go to refill for my Lamy safari (even though I should stick a piece of rubber at the back)... I LOVE the inkfow of that refill, the only downside that I constantly see is that it doesn't last as long as the Faber castell refill... but for the price that it has, it isn't really that much of a problem

I'm always really impressed by your Royal Silver Sarasa Grand. Such a good looking pen and so rare too. I actually hand drilled out the hole of a Sarasa Grand with a hex screwdriver and am able to put in refills like the Schneider Topball you show here, Faber Castell, Ohto Ceramic, Schmidt fineliner, and others I'm sure. Of course going back to the Zebra refill there is some wiggle but I never preferred them over the many other European style rollerball refills.

any standard European rollerball pen, and many Japanese pens that use gel or rollerball refills.
