feb 2018 metro walk whitney houston medley. you won't regret it. nor her covers of "somewhere over the rainbow" (live at the metro walk as well) & "never enough" (one take at home version being my favorite). please, please, please: explore more of her talents; she's so much more vocally complex than what this performance showcases. katrina can hit 5+ notes in a half second, she can belt her face off for 42 seconds straight (unless she's already broken her own record, haha)...she also *consistently* has gorgeous tonality in both her high & low registers, & the best breath control/vocal agility in the game today.

Hearing her for the first time is definitely incredible and unfortunate. Her covers of Mulan's Reflection, Never Enough, and I Surrender are just some of performances you wouldn't want to miss. She also have collaborations like One Sweet Day, I'm Your Angel, Thank God I Found You and I Turn To You, which will definitely be equally amazing.

Katrina is a vocal beast and extremely versatile. She has an extra pair of lungs; she held a note for > 20 seconds. If you are interested in hearing an international legend in musical theater from the Philippines, listen to Lea Salonga, a two time Disney princess sing "Reflection" (Mulan) or "On My Own" (Les Miserables).

Schnell, the can of worms is wide open! I've watched a few of your reactions, including to my fave group, Home Free. I am retired military, and live in the Philippines. This place is LOADED with very good, to great, singers! From millions of karaoke singers, to world class. And, I STILL don't have a clue how Marcelito can "switch" his voice like that so quickly. For something very similar to Morissette's duet with Daryl Ong, see Katrina Velarde and Sam Mangubat singing "I Turn To You". For an excellent group vocal see Kartina Velarde and BuDaKhel ( Bugoy Drilon, Daryl Ong, and Michael "Khel" Pangilinan ) singing "One Sweet Day". Also entertaining and impressive is her "Impersonating Singers 3 (Burn)". For something more like this one - "Reflection" (from Mulan)
