tips from a lazy student who bettered her life by figuring out HOW to study right before exams ( went from 61% in December to 82% in june ); -revision the stuff you learned that day and take notes , you don't have to study it , just make the notes for it and put it in a binder for when you need them. It only takes like 1-2 hours a day , and it's worth it. -study 3-4 days beforehand , day 1 ; make notes , day 2 ; study notes , day 3 ; make exercises , test if you took in the information. -study everything in your book , we all know those history texts no one really reads , but we (most of the time) DO get one or 2 questions on it. Even if you read it just once , just make sure you do. -sleep enough , eat enough and drink at least 2 liters (8 glasses) of water a day. It helps with concentration and ability to take in info. -Don't eat sugar before studying , they make you very awake , yes , but they limit your concentration.

I only have one secret in studying: Do not study yet if your body and mind isn't ready for all the informations you are about to intake. And I have never failed in any class.

일단 하루 이틀전에 벼락치기로 하시는 저분들은 전공이 정말 잘맞거나 머리가 정말 좋은거임;;; 타고난거지 공부비법은 아니다 또 전공마다 공부법은 너무나 다르기 때문에 이 영상은 그냥 재미삼아 보시는게 좋을거 같네요... 근데 수업시간에 초집중하는건 공통적이네요

진짜 우리나라만큼 학벌에 민감한 나라가 있나싶네요... 어디든 본인하기따라 그 사람가치는 달라질 수 있는 법인데 대학간판이 전부인것 마냥 다른 사람들 평가하고 있는 모습참... 명문대 가도 놀고먹기만하다 백수인 사람 많습니다. 제 친구들 일부가 그래요. 저는 뭐 수능운도 따르지 않고 고등학교때 상대적으로 공부를 소홀히 해서 지방사립대를 졸업했습니다. 하지만 공직이 고등학교당시부터의 목표였기에 잘 준비해서 국가직 7급을 졸업과 동시에 성취할 수 있었습니다. 대학도 수석입학해 수석졸업했고요. 휴학한 적도 없습니다. 이것도 뭐 고시아니니 뭐 있나 그런식으로 댓글 다시는 분 있을 수 있겠습니다만 그저 대학만 가지고 함부로 그 사람 평가는 안했으면 좋겠네요. 분명 대학수준마다 학습분위기가 다르고 인식 다른건 저도 느낍니다만 어딜가든 결국 노력하는 사람만 웃는 법입니다. 남인생 평가절하하기 전에 스스로를 좀 돌아봤으면 싶네요.

Just my opinion, but I find the part of staying up all night to study super extreme. I study a lot too, but I tend to do IT in time for my exams and in the Most extreme case I did 8 h of studying on one Day. Sleep is really important and they shouldn't skip IT ;-;. I know it is somehow normal in Korea to study during the night too, but it's not very healthy T-T All in all very interesting video! Have a Nice Day!!

I also talk to myself out loud or by mouthing, it helps a lot with remembering and I copy my notes at least ones. I like visuals so I literally look up all kinds of photos of the human body when studying for anatomy and other science classes. I record lectures as well and I listen to each one the most twice; one to write down any missed info during lecture and second time when studying for exam. ** don’t cram listening to the lectures cuz you’ll have a lot to catch up on. Been there and I failed my exam as a result

I only study at the day of examination because that's the only time I got pressured and focus. Plus I like individual work than group because most of the time I'm the only one finishing the project or activities.

공대 학점하고 인문 학점은 밸런스부터가 다르지. 공대학점은 인문학점 대비 +0.3~0.4정도는 해야 밸런스가 맞음. 1학년때 경영 2학년때 공학으로 옮긴사람으로서 학점받는 어려움정도가 다르다.

I can study at times but teaching others reaaallly helps in fully understanding it! At school I used to get quite low grades but it gotten better once I've learned the best way for me to learn (differs based on individual ofc). I LOVE procrastinating but I love the joy of getting good grades even more! 🤣 Thank you for this video! Very helpful tips and they're amazing ❤️💓

I find that this works, sit in front, be an active participant in class, understand the work as it is being covered. Ask for help early if you don't understand. Do all your assignments and tutorials. By the time exams come around, you'll know the work and you won't have to study so hard. It'll also make cramming easier. Do not study with other people if you do not know your work, especially people with lower averages than you. It will just cause you anxiety.

Guys if you just keep up with the lectures at least knkw the topics write down the importance the teacher tells u and write down a lot of examples review. You wont have to do a lot during examweek. Sleep is important, just because every body does it doesnt mean u have to too. My friends work up all night sleep two hours and then make rhe test. I stop at 10 oclock always the day before, cause if i wasnt able to get it in my then, it wont happen after that either. And a scholarship is not everything. You are of more importance. I know in korea there’s another mentality and pressure from the parents, but eventually its your life, you get to decide. (Ps i study law, you’d might think i have to read a lot, which i have to, but dont just by paying attention during the lecture you can go far)

내 개인적인 비법 1. 전공에 흥미가 있다 2. 셤기간이건 아니건 매일 공부한다 3. 모르면 알 때까지 공부한다 4. 노트에 내가 아는걸 정리한다 5. 교재와 약간 다른방식으로 접근해본다 6. 시너지효과가 있는 타과 과목도 공부한다 7. 방학중에도 공부한다 8. 용돈이 생기면 책을 사고 각종 읽을거리 pdf 들을 태블릿에 구비해둔다 9. 수업시간에 교수님이 강조한 부분을 놓치지않고 체크해두면 시험공부하기 편하다 10. 과제는 꼬박꼬박 해서 낸다 결론은 고3때의 반의 반만 해도 4.5 나옴

1학년 때 장학금을 타서 부모님의 등록금 부담을 덜어드리기 시작하면서였죠... 점점 금전적인 부담을 드리지 않게 하고싶어 어쩌다보니 반강제적(?)으로 장학금과 성적을 위한 공부를 하게 되는 것 같아요.

I first watched this when it came out in my junior year of high school. I’m happy to see this video again in my yt recommendations as an incoming 1st year student in college. I realized that this video influenced the way I thought about studying & my grades & class standing really improved by the tips they gave. I think these techniques only work if you're already a very intelligent and fast-learning student, for example the cramming. The best study advice should be tips that would take a slow-learning and less intelligent student up to an A+ mark. Let's say that you only spent 3 days studying for your exam. If you weren't fast-learning and/or not intelligent enough, you wouldn't have grasped the material from your lectures and 3 days of study wouldn't be enough to get you to the level to get 90% and above in your exam. Only people who have basically understood the material already during the lecture due to their intellectual capability or are able to pick it up very quickly are able to do well with that kind of study method.

Here in my country group projects became individual projects and individual projects became group projects

I live in Sweden and despite major cultural differences with Korea, especially regarding the study mentality, many top students I know would most likely agree thoroughly with the answers given in this video. I'm statistically amongst the top 1% of students in my country and I agree completely! :)

Taking notes really is the best thing you can do I majored in IT and didn't have extra time to study before exams because of the projects that I needed to handle each semester but looking over my notes and even copying them has been my best go to study method

*btw this is not for bragging i just wanna see if this is normal and ppl relate* Am I the only one who does all this to make my parents proud. After studying my ass off i got the top of my class throughout the whole year and didnt get below an A. I got 2% above an A and i was literally lectured for an hour for nearly getting below A. And when i see my friends and our parents r their my parents say "Oh shes such a good daughter, she studies and gets top of her class" They literally act like im an object they can show off, like bish..-. Also i was sad with my body and lost 10-12kg and when my parents argue with me they call me fat and that just makes me more depressed and want to loose weight:( If u read ur a legend:))

흠.... 전부터 배경이나 인터뷰, 영어자막 느낌이 전체적으로 그렇다고 느꼈지만 이번엔 주제 자체가 유난히 솔파스러운....

이론수업 실습수업 절반이기에 양쪽다 열심히여야되는데 심지어 동기들이 전부 한살 어려서 개부담시려워서 더 열심히 학교다니고 더 열심히 이론 실습 전부 익힐라고 교수님 쫄쫄 따라다닌것같음.....도중은 좀 찡찡댄것도 있다만....그냥 열심히 교수님에게 질문만 해대니까 잘 주시는것같음....나머지 애들이 잘 안한다던지 그런걸지도

새로운걸 알아가네요.. 특히 장학금 받으면 부모님께서 선물을 주거나 부탁을 할 수 있다는 것도 신기하고, 장학금 안받으면 그대로 빚이 된다는 의견이 없는게 제일 신기해요.. 저의 경우엔 성적이 B밑으론 떨어진적이 없어서 2014년도 1학년 1학기때(국가장학금 신청을 몰라서 안했어요..)를 제외하곤 매 학기마다 전액 장학금 계속 받고있는데도 부모님께서 선물을 주긴 커녕 축하도 하지 않으시고 부모님께서 등록금 대줄 돈없다고 하셨기 때문에 애초에 등록금이고 뭐고(원서값, 예치금 등등..) 다 제 돈 혹은 학자금 대출을 받아서했기 때문에 장학금 타지 못하면 휴학을 해야하는 상황이라 진짜 죽을 힘을 다해 장학금에 거의 목숨을 걸거든요.... 2014년도 1학기에 장학금이 뭔줄 모르고 신청안해서 빚 있는게 너무 신경쓰여서 더 빚 쌓이지 않게하려고 독한 마음 먹고 공부하는데 다른 사람들은 그래도 좀 여유롭구나 하고 새로 알았어요.. (솔직히 부럽네요..) 덕분에 알아갑니다 고마워요 스튜디오 V ♥♥

저학년 대학생필수품 1.노트북 ,유에스비,보조배터리 2.A4용지,스테이플러 (학교나 문방구에서 출력하는것보다, 공대생프젝실 이용해서 출력하는것이 돈이 덜듬!!) 3.필기도구는 적게 5개정도. (처음에 기쁜마음으로 여러개 구매하지만, 뒤로갈수록 필기도구들은 필통이 아닌 가방에 들어가있는경우가 많음ㅋㅋ) 4. 놀준비 (저학년때는 수업만 듣고 다른걸 많이 해보는걸 강추, 이때 즐겨보지 못한 친구들이 남들 고학년 올라갈때 휴학해버리는경우가 있음)

성적도 중요하긴 하지만~나름 열심히 살아가는 부분에 있어서 즐겁게 인생을 즐기면서 공부하는게 참 좋은거 같아요 어색하지도 않고 서로서로 공유도 하고 서로 답문하면서 친구들도 생길거고 ~시끄럽지만 않으면 같이 함께 공부하는거는 나쁘지 않아요 ㅎㅎ차츰 친구들하고 공부를 하게 되면서 뭔가 바뀌기도 하고 특히 교수님 분과 이야기를 좀 잘 하게 되거나 잘 묻게 된다면 학습에는 좋은거 같아요!

In my school (I live in the Philippines) there’s this Chinese examination that we high schoolers do teachers take really serious for some reason (probably because it’s really hard), we have to sit in the dining hall and stay far apart from each other so that we won’t cheat. Some days I won’t even be sleeping at all but thank god I’m okay even though I don’t sleep, my body is weird, I know. Our English teachers (not all tho) pity us so much that they don’t give us homework or exercises that day and just discuss the lesson.

공대는 뭐..개강 후 일주일 뒤 도서관행.. 1학년1학기 까지는 시험 2주전에 공부시작가능했는데 그 이후로는 절대 불가능..2학년부터 교수님들 뭔가..수준이 달라짐..

I find that taking ur time with study guides (esp helpful when u procrastinate ) and then looking over or just skimming what u have in ur study guide 2-3x a day helps with exams. I usually give myself almost a week to do the study guide cuz imma lazy bum . But bc I look at the notes so many times alrdy from having to reopen my study guide, I don’t have to study that hard.

They all seem like they have such great personalities - I would love to be friends with people like them!!
