A dunk contest could be more compared to a 3 point contest where each man's efforts are judged in and of themselves. You'll even notice it in the dunk contest. The commentators (Kevin Hart and Kenny) said that Zach had dunks that were worth 50, however, Aaron's dunks that were worth 50 points were more favorable or likeable. No true judge penalizes Zach because of another players dunk. If you think this way then Shaq, Tracy McGrady, Mutumbo, and the other judges disagree with you.
