Damn, that orange bus is tough. You can tell it's built on a much heavier medium duty truck chassis. In another life, that cab / chassis would be hard at work as a dump truck or something on a construction site day in and day out.

That was quite disappointing that they were only hitting the back of the buses together. I was expecting them to smash into the sides of each other and rolling over. It was kinda boring.

You just sell it to scrap the weight like 3 or 4 tons and where I live at 100 bucks a ton I can get 400 and go get another retired bus to get running

Wrong. Vehicles do not explode. They burn very quickly once a fire starts inside, but they do not explode.

These buses are purchased at a local "bus auction" business. Many of the buses there at the auction site are purchased and driven to Mexico and beyond.
