Bro you have to be shimmin me! (I just made that up). Thank you. Just started training on a Siemens yesterday and KZfaq has saved my life. I have found this broadcast on abdominal imaging and part one extremely helpful. You do a great job of making everything so easy to understand and the knowledge you have is something to be admired. I have a question though. I noticed that none of your scans included any monitoring of the patients breathing pattern for non breath hold scans. When shadowing someone I noticed they were having difficulty with this. Do you have any videos showing this type of scan and/or how to set up those types of scans? I noticed the tech I was shadowing didn't use a respiratory gating device under the coil like on the Philips scanner I've used for Abdominal work. Does Siemens have a work around for this? Teach me. lol

Thanks Randy for this great video! I work on GE mri scanner as a Tech and I'm wondering if you could do a similar abdominal scan by utilizing a Navigator for your dynamic sequences. I've run into situations where patients are unable to hold their breath and very deaf at the same time. Thanks again
