I remember when I was in school the teacher would pass out pocketless folders and have us stand them up to cover our tests like a wall covering the front and sides so there wouldn't be any cheating.

Honestly, the teacher coming up to students and saying things like "I'll be real disappointed if you didn't do your assignment" would actually be pretty good motivation, for me, at least, since the only thing that really kept me motivated to do well was fear of disappointing others.

I've utilized the "write the answers all over your body cheat", but mostly confined to my palms. Ive used it on dozens, if not over 100 quizzes, tests, and finals through middle school, high school, and college, and never got caught. It particularly comes in handy for tests that require memorizing certain terms or vocabulary words. If you write really small, you can even fit a whole example problem for math or science.

There are some more interesting episodes you should see soon. Like another being “Teacher’s Strike” in which the teachers at PS 118 go on strike against Principal Wartz. Another episode is “The Flood” When Wartz announces the school that they are stuck inside due to a massive flood

When I was in the 5th grade, in my science/history/math class. I had studied all night, the next day, and in class until it was time for this science test. I even brought my plush Ariel Little Mermaid doll for good luck. Anyway, I got a perfect score on my test however so did the girl right next to me. Both tests were the same word for word. My teacher (Ms. Jamison) knew one of us had cheated but didn't know who, so she gave us both Fs. I knew it wasn't me, but she couldn't just take my word for it the same with the other girl. So, she had us retake the test but this time she separated us. I took my test outside the classroom in the hallway. And Candace (that's what her name was) had to take hers inside the classroom. I got the same perfect score as I did last time, proofing to Ms. Jamison that I wasn't the cheater and Candace was. She got in trouble, and the F she deserved. I got moved to a new seat and an apology from Ms. Jamison (she wrote it on my test).

Students can find Texas Instrument Calculator Programs online that could either solve math problems or reduce the amount of work needed to solve a math problem. For instance, factoring square root problems like the square root of 240 equals 4 radical 15. A student could either use a program that could factor the equation for them or a program that could give them the factors of 240, and the student could look and decide on factors that would make up the final answer.

It a good reaction! I think something schools should take in account is that some students get nervous during tests and even if they studied they forgot everything due to that... so sometimes that leads them to cheat. I never liked to cheat in tests, but I was so nervous filling them that I couldn't recall what I did studied, even if I didn't cheat, It did affect my grades at that time.

I don’t like the thought of Moze covering up her test with a sombrero, either. More likely, I think she could form a shield with her left hand. I remember having some teachers who passed out cardboard frames (we called them “desk buddies”) to block others’ views of our tests. I also remember my old computer science teacher using tools called skins and shields to keep us from looking at the keyboard and from placing our hands on the keyboard the wrong way.

I have heard of cheating by putting programs onto a TI-84 or TI-84 Plus calculator, but I’ve also heard of people doing it by putting linear or quadratic functions into the calculator so they spelled out an answer on the graph. This, I believe, is why they always make you clear the RAM on your calculator when testing.

At most, I would've just wrote down the wrong answers and then went back and corrected them at the last minute. But it'd really be easier to just tell a teacher, you don't have to fully rat someone out, but it'd be good to give the teacher insight in what's going on.

I can say from experience that although teachers aren't so blatant about saying it's "the most important test of your life" but more of how much emphasis is put on studying can put imaginations like that in your head. Especially if it's public; an oral report like a Powerpoint where you have to present and give a summary of the book or study, which counted as a test in my school.

There are two other ways I’ve seen people cheat. First, I’ve seen them do something very much like writing on part of their body, but to hide the fact that they’re cheating, they’ll write with invisible ink or one of those pens that dispenses ink that you need glasses to see. (They’ll do this not just on their bodies, but also on surfaces like desks and walls, which is very difficult to do because it requires very risky entrance into the school building and wise planning of which testing room to do it in.) Second, I’ll see people write answers on the inside of a water bottle. I have personal experience with being permitted to drink from a bottle of water while testing, but if that’s not permitted, I’ve seen students get away with it by lying that they need to keep the bottle nearby under a doctor’s orders.

About people who cheat just for the pride of being the best have you ever met any of them, whose parents where the kind of parents who basically forced their kids to have nothing but good grades, and who take it like one point as bad as the equivalent of them getting an F, are those people more likely to cheat just to know they lived up to their parents high standards also there are two shows that were officially put on KZfaq that you should check out the first Mr. Young a sitcom about a kid genius, who skipped so many classes that he’s basically the age when he should be being in high school, he’s actually teaching it you said, check it out for the principal, one of the most incompetent and corrupt principles ever who is also moron, and the second is Detentionaire, which started out as a show about a guy just trying to prove he was framed for the biggest prank in high school history they got him a whole year of detention and eventually default into a giant conspiracy

This reminds me of a story my chemistry teacher said about a girl in his class who cheated off her four best friends. It was a problem he tried to deal with but each time the girls found a way to help their friend cheat. The story I remember was just ingenious. One day for a test my teacher put the cheater in the center of the class and her four best friends at the four corners of the class to keep them from cheating......but they did. As they took the test, the best friends gave the cheater the answers by tapping their pencils in MORSE CODE. I guess he never thought to make the exams open answer instead of multiple choice. That might have helped.

I don't see how you could feasibly cheat your way into the honor role even if you wanted to. Cheating is far too risky and difficult to get away with consistently over a long period. Not to mention it would probably be completely nerve-wracking. Even if it weren't wrong, cheating isn't worth the effort or the stress.

how some people manage to cheat is honestly pretty impressive. if only they'd put that dedication into studying.

Students mostly get to use calcualtors during Middle and High School. But once a student reaches college they can't use calculators on exams or quizzes, because it's considered cheating in college. That's probably because students have the opportunity to go online and look for programs that would give them the correct answers to a math problem.

When I was in college, there were certain classes (mostly math) with no calculators, but most science classes allowed them. Some students had super fancy calculators that would store formulas and other info that was basically cheating, but because it's all technically stored on the calculator, they never arouse any suspicion.

Thankfully, this is Bitsy's last episode of the show. She ends up getting replaced by another character for Seasons 2 and 3. At least the new character is better than Bitsy, in my opinion.

I guess Polk Middle School has a very strict no cheating policy and made an example out of Bitsy by expelling her.
