Hi! I’m about to start internship tomorrow as a school psychologist! Does your school really want you to work while on holiday break? Is that common? As mental health professionals shouldn’t we advocate for down times? Just curious since our jobs can get really stressful 😅 anyways happy new year!

no not common!!! some people take work home often but i maybe work after hours 1-2x a month. it really depends on where you work and how many schools/students you have.

Just finished undergrad and starting to apply to school psych grad programs. I was looking into ABA therapy as a job while waiting to hear back, and during school. What are your thoughts and experiences around ABA I have little knowledge about it. Thanks!

i have a video on my experiences as an ABA therapist. It's a great field to get to work with children, especially a variety of populations! i would do some research on companies though since some can be shady or not do things in the best interest of the child
