4 жыл бұрынSet in a high school, TVF’s latest Qtiyapa ‘Padh Le Basanti’ is a take on today’s education system where some corrupt teachers don’t teach well in class and take surprise tests with questions out of syllabus. Their intent is to leave students with no choice but to take their tuitions and fill their pockets. But Ajay, a topper of BCCIS, doesn’t approve of it. And he starts a revolution that DJ and friends take up with the help of Miss Chu.

I was also indirectly forced to join tuitions in class 12th by the teacher who used to teach me in class. He never gave me more than 54% marks in any test in school. I was really depressed all year as to how I will pass this subject. Literally my WHOLE class was taking tuitions from him and a competitor of him and no one shared the notes with me. I did self study. Guess what? I topped that subject in my school. 98/100. Economics ❤️

Took back to my school days. Bunch of us use to imagine and write such bollywood inspired stories. In 2000 we wrote Border movie spoof, theme was cheating during exam. The guy who will get the least in mid terms was always the main lead. Be it Bhuvan from Lagan, Major Kuldeep Singh Chaandpuri from Border or Captain Manoj Pandey from LOC, all role went to one person and now he is in IAF. Relishing those memories. Best work guys!! I m a Govt. Sr. Sec. School lecturer, Geography in Sarvoday Vidyalay, Bhajanpura. It's a backward and very poor area of Delhi, dominated by 80% minorities and rest 20% valmiki, gurjar and scheduled caste communities with meagre income. They can't send their children to even a nearby private school, just leave a good public school. I have been appointed recently and it's my 3rd month here. You would not believe that half yearly exams were in Oct. and by then the second book of class-11 geography NCERT was not even opened and from that very book the questions were asked upto Unit-4th. Student did not even saw Unit-1st. I started from Unit-1st and within 2 months , I have completed 6 Units of that book. Students of class 11th did not have any idea about even latitute-longitute when I started, but now they are doing well, and they say that " Sir , agar aapke jaise teachers hme mil Jayen to hm private tuition padhna chhod denge". And I really feel a kind of joy by hearing this. Many children ask me many times, in the class and outside of it "Sir, aap kahin tuition ya coaching padhaate ho?...........agar padhaate ho to batao, hm wahin aa kr padh lenge, school nhin ayenge". I always tell them "Mai kahin tuition ya coaching nhin padhata. Aapke agar padhna hai to ap school zarur ao ". I must say, I take two classes in that class, 1 each before and after lunch, and I found in both periods that, almost 40 to 50 out of 60 students are their to attend the class. They do not run away from the school and wait for my class.

Sir Harsh I totally relate you as I also a teacher of Geography and class 11 Physical Geography is a challenging task for teacher as well as students too... India Physical however manageable... Such a beautiful content with a Powerful message. Yes, it's a dark truth that our education system is a mess, but more messy is the implementation done by the school systems. Our experts in the education system don't understand that we need less mind numbing, mugging based knowledge (yeah, why I had to know what happened in the 1st, 2nd and so on round table conferences and where the hell I am using integrations and differentiations) and more skill based knowledge. Well I think, so much mugging had made our generation so screwed up. Let's not repeat our mistakes.
