You should give subtitles of spanish also ...That would help a lot..

@@feb4605 I think they can add subtitles only for the Spanish conversation part. They sometimes patter and as a beginner it is difficult to catch them up.

Weird, I listened to this for the first time 2 months ago and I could only pick out a few words but now, after studying every day for 2 months, I can understand all of it. It's great to see progress.

I enjoyed this lesson. I noticed that when I slow down the speed of the video during the students' conversations I can follow them more carefully. It's like practicing the piano; play slower (but evenly) at first and gradually quicken the pace. Thank you, Maestro Evans.

So far after taking twenty lessons from you... The conversation in the last as I could translate Hello Supriya Hello Andres How are you Ahan, very good And you Good Next line could not understand Boy: I have my class schedule too Girl: Can I have your classes? Boy: I have maths class at 08:30 with Professor Martinez I have science class at 09:40 with professor Cortes I have social studies class at 10:30 with Professor Rodriguez We will have lunch at noon i have french class at 1 in the afternoon Good Good The physical education class is at 2 And you, have your classes? Girl: I have biology class at 08:30 with Professor Sanchez I have Social study class at 09:40 with Professor Ropez I have maths class at 10:30 with Professor Martinez We will eat lunch at 12, too. I have French class at 1 in the afternoon I have computer science class at 2. 1:30 Definitions can vary as well---"coche" in some countries is a car, in others a baby carriage, and in some places it means pig.

Dr. Evans' videos are the best and easiest way to learn Spanish. With videos, you learn how words are properly pronounced.

These classes are so good! Just one question though. I maybe wrong here but aren't spanish words generally accented on the second last syllable (case in point, historia). Historía sounds more natural than história. Would highly appreciate if you can help with that! Thanks

School subject: "asignaturas" is ok, you can also say "Cursos". "Asignación", that for me is a homework I have to present, a paper or an essay maybe. Informatic in my school was just "computación", "languages" subject is just "lenguaje" which would be spanish class, for other languages would be english/frech class.

Can I ask about la pluma when I talked to a Spanish friend she told me it is bolígrafo (pen) pluma is the feather pen, so I’m confused, is that right and can you please tell me the difference . And thanks a lot for the lessons it is really amazing

i use duolingo to study spanish(spain) as well and it tells me the pen is boligrafo. i think both la pluma and el boligrafo are correct in spanish, yet it depends on whether you are speaking spanish in spain or latin america.
