Sosa came in and changed the whole fucking game. Everyone you listed are absolute legends but Sosa, in my opinion, doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. Young Chop too. Shout out to DJ Kenn too. But Chops beats and Sosa’s style birthed this new sound we have today. If you listen to the Finally Rich album and everything before that, you can hear the current sound we have today in rap, just with some tweakin to it. I’m still waiting for someone to come out and bring a whole new wave.

Bruh! “Brand New Guy” by Asap rocky ft School Boy Q was my 1st time hearing School Boy Q and it made me start listening to him more. He absolutely slaughtered his verses on that track, had me like “who tf is this snapping like this?!?”lol Actually Q is the first TDE member that I took interest to and once Q got my attention I started checking out the whole Black Hippy and I’ve been a fan ever since.
